Everything was great, our server was friendly and warm. Food was good except for the ice pucs we received when we had actually ordered black pudding. No knife could cut them, forks could not pierce them, way way over cooked, we couldn't eat them as we feared for our teeth and jaws. This being said we will visit again and just ask that our black puddings just get a minute each side.

Great local pub. Friendly staff. A good atmosphere. Decent food, serving the usual Wetherspoons fare. Nothing wrong with it and good value for money.

A good pit stop to refresh yourself after a long journey. There are many drinks, snacks and meals to choose from here. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. It's clean and pocket friendly especially if you are on a budget. There's a little place to sit outside the entrance. The toilets are well kept and clean. À visit is highly recommended

A small wetherspoon pub, but quick service and good food, and nearly always busy. It has no car park, but tescos is next door, which allows up to three hours free parking, so it was ideal for us

A lovely little pub. Staff were lovely: cheerful, polite and helpful. The usual seating options but there were possibly a couple too many as it was a little difficult to move around - although it was clean and tidy. I don't know if it's a regular thing or not but they had an excellent Managers special of an 8oz sirloin or a mixed grill for £4.99 (see below) - hard to beat. The Guinness was excellent as was the Doom Bar

Standard Wetherspoons fitout, one of their smallest. The gents toilets are poor compared to most Wetherspoons but otherwise it's what you expect.

Yes it's a weatherspoons but that's why I went as you know what to expect. The table ordering was perfectly good and ensured I could continue my conversation without having to walk to the bar and stand around. There was a good menu for drinks and food. Decided that we would eat and was not disappointed with the food. Before you get on your high horse about it being spoons food, that's the point. I knew what I was ordering and it was perfectly good food for the situation. With several screens dotted around for sports fans it was fairly busy. There are some tucked away areas if you want less distractions. There is outside seating but not great for this time of year unless you want a smoke.
