Just had the most wonderful meal here this evening! The staff were so friendly and attentive and the food was just amazing. We both had the meze which was truly delicious and so much food! Would highly recommend and can’t wait to visit again!
The food is fantastic. Good portion size too.. Warm welcome from the owners and a friendly atmosphere. Would definitely recommend this place. It has something for everyone. I will definitely be back!!

Went here on Sunday for my Birthday meal. Just me and Hubs for once! It was amazing! Food was yummy. Portions huge as always! The Othello red wine is well worth trying and Lenny is the best host ever! Had the doggy bag for tea tonight and enjoyed every last scrap!!

Had a birthday meal in there last night. We opted for the 4 person meze so we could try a little of everything. Absolutely wonderful food, enough to have fed at least another 2 people. Staff were so friendly and efficient. We were told to take our time and didn’t feel rushed at all. Brought a huge doggy bag of meat home. We will definitely be going back. Well done!
I had my surprise birthday meal here last night.Table of 8, most of us had the Meze so we could try a bit of everything. Food was Fab but lots of different courses so took a lot of doggy bags, don’t order this if your not starving. The owners are lovely and staff great and service with a smile. Would defiantly recommend and will certainly be back!
My husband and I visited the Plough and Harrow having seen many positive reviews online. We were not disappointed. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were friendly and attentive. The portion sizes were incredibly generous. We will definitely return there very soon.
We have just had a fantastic meal here at the plough and Harrow..we had the meze and can not fault anything..Food is amazing and the waitresses Freya and Jaz �� were very attentive and friendly..definitely recommend and we will definitely be back. Thank you all for a lovely evening xxx

We had a wonderful time! The place has such a nice vibe to it and food was just AMAZING! Everything is hand made and it shows in every aspect. The host was so nice and shared her story with us and answered all our questions (we had a lot!!). Well worth the money as we had so much leftovers that we took home as we couldn't finish the mega mezze for 2. Also, we appreciated the complimentary cheesecake that we received, it was mouth-watering. We would definitely recommend this place to anybody who is looking for good food in a nice setting and we will for sure come back to try everything else from the menu. Thank you again to the host for making our dinner such a great experience!

The Greek music is always nice, quite enough to be able to have a conversation while enjoying a nice atmosphere!
The services is always very friendly though prompt and professional!
Then the food arrives!!! Fresh food and freshly cooked specially for you! Portions are always generous and prices are reasonable!
There is an option/ choice for everyone including vegetarians!
And at the end….We always leave with two portions of authentic Baklava made by the chefs themselves !
It is a wonderful friendly place where you can have a great honest meal in a lovely atmosphere, never feeling rushed, just like in Greece!

Organised a meal for a party of 28 Everyone loved it. The food was delicious. The portions huge and the service brilliant. The chef and all staff were very accommodating. The room was laid out so well and a very happy evening was had by all. Cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough
My wife and I have been a few times here for a meal, the chef and waitress are amazing, you will not go home hungry! So the food is plentiful and of a high standard plus the baklava is to die for, they will put it in a takeaway box for you if you can’t finish. I highly recommend. Multumesc :)
Found this restaurant by chance and had a fantastic time. Really great food at a very good price. It was so good that we ordered a takeaway the following week. Will definitely be returning with the rest of my family.
The chef and the manager were very welcoming and the place was clean and with greek vibes. Although Romanian food isn’t in the menu any more, they offered us amazing beans when we asked about it and they were fantastic. There is a good offer of 3 dishes for 19.99 and this will definitely fill you up. The greek stuffed pita is banging and the chips are homemade. The manager did everything to satisfy us including doing some changing to the pita. So much appreciated they all went the extra mile for us. My favourite Greek place. What a pity that the locals can’t appreciate Romanian food.
I cannot thank the staff enough at this restaurant for all their help with my dads 70th surprise birthday meal! The food was absolutely perfect, the portions were HUGE and everything was cooked with so much flavour and love. The staff are just incredible, so kind, caring, quick service and so understanding of all your needs. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough, for a romantic evening meal, family event or just a family meal out, this is one of the best restaurants around! 10/10 recommend!xxxx

We ordered a takeaway for my wife's birthday as we aren't able to eat out at the moment. We'd always intended to try Plough and Harrow as a restaurant, so this was an easy choice when we wanted something a little special for a celebration. We were not disappointed!
My daughter ordered cheeseburger and chips. I didn't get to try it but it looked amazing - packed full with a decent patty and lots of cheese and salad. It beat my daughter but she gave it a good go.
My son ordered ribs and chips. He's a fussy eater so we asked for no coleslaw, but the amount of ribs was incredible. He battled his way through it and managed to finish it off.
My wife ordered chicken skewers (you get two in a portion) and chips, which also came with halloumi, tzatsiki and pitta bread. Tender chicken, well seasoned and very tasty.
I went for the mixed grill - 1 lamb skewer, 1 chicken skewer, sausage, chops, chicken wings, grilled tomatoes, chips (I think I've forgotten some bits too). It was amazing - I nearly finished it but ultimately beat me.
We also ordered loaded fries and garlic mushrooms. Probably more food than we needed, but both equally delicious.
Finally, as we'd heard good things, we also ordered some Lotus Biscoff and Black Forest cheesecake slices. After a considerable time after our main course, we enjoyed these - creamy and crunchy in all the right places.
I would thoroughly recommend The Plough and Harrow Taverna. I look forward to when we can enjoy dining there in the future when circumstances allow.
You won't leave this place hungry!!! We had the £25 mezze and I don't think I've ever seen anything like it. The amount of food we got was ridiculous. So much so I forgot how many courses we had! The food was very nice and the staff are very friendly. If you like Greek food then you really should give this place a try!

I enjoyed visiting here, although the food was somewhat simple and I think they used microwave rice! The price isn't awful but the dishes I had weren't complex.

The interior is a strange combination of British pub with Greek decor, but not uncomfortable.
The staff were absolutely lovely and accommodating, very welcoming.
