Visited this place last week and definately worth a look. Has been decorated recently so very fresh looking. The service was second to none by the server who couldn't do enough. We went as a party of 4 but this place could easily cater parties and families with children. Wonderful
We found here to be hit and miss but our last visit was excellent. The food was fresh hot and tasty and overall the service was good. We had a chicken burger and ribs. Price was OK as we had a 25% off voucher.
First time having a breakfast in a Beefeater and at £9.50* per person!! this is an absolute bargain for what IMHO is made with good quality ingredients.
*apparently upto 2 under 16 year olds can eat for free with every fee paying Adult .
Paula greeted me and took care of everything, and as for the breakfast...Les the breakfast Chef cooked up an absolutely delicious breakfast. Both poaches eggs and soft boiled egg were cooked to absolute perfection - thank you LES you superstar eggspert🥰 .
Restaurant and toilets were immaculate, actually smelt mega fresh and hygienic!!
Sorry, Toby Carvery...I won't be back again anytime soon to eat your breakfast.

I had an evening meal here as well as breakfast as I was staying in the adjacent hotel. All staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and couldn’t do enough for you which was great.
I had the fish and chips with mushy peas for my evening meal which was lovely, really well cooked and very tasty.
The breakfast is a buffet style but all good was tasty and hit, with plenty of choice and the coffee was great. A visit is highly recommended
Had an amazing meal, portion sizes were great couldn't finish what we'd been given, excellent value for money! Staff were warm and welcoming and Cheryl who was looking after us was great, so positive instantly made you feel better, atmosphere was quiet as we'd got there not long after opening time, really cosy place. Only issue I had was when I went to the men's toilet the cubicle was a mess of course I can't really blame the business for this as it was a customer who had left it like that, I couldn't take a star off for that tho as everything else was perfect! Will definitely be returning.
2nd visit : Excellent hospitality from Lisa J . She kept checking up making sure everything was ok and if I needed anything. Bit upset that had to book on. Asking at the desk she said nothing she could do. Never gave me any options eg. Would you like to book for later or come back in a bit just palmed me off. So I left and booked for 8:15pm. Other than that it was good food was nice. Shame about no cookie dough available 2nd time now month apart.

Our steaks were cooked to perfection......medium with triple cooked chunky chips with a mango, peach and habanero sauce to dip me beer battered onion rings in - wow!
We normally goto Miller and Carter for steaks, well guess what, Beefeater is just as good and half the price!

Walk in breakfast of 9 of us! Great service, reasonably priced. Hot food was hot and tasty. Eggs cooked just how i like them! Didn't take photos.
Had a very tasty evening meal whilst staying at the attached Premier Inn. Service was attentive and professional (thank you Ruth). I would recommend the stacked burger with the hot sauce, very spicy. The gammon steak which my wife had was also very tasty.
There is a free carpark attached to the restaurant and hotel.
There is also a bar for a drink after your meal which has a good choice of beers and larger.
My partner and I are both gluten intolerant and found the menus offered plenty of choice in dishes. The staff even went through the ingredients in some dishes and checked with the kitchen too. Lovely food, friendly staff and great atmosphere.
Warm welcome on arrival, great service from a friendly and efficient server. Food was hot and very tasty, we will definitely return.

Fantastic food honestly can't say enough about this place. The hotel is perfect and the restaurant is one of the best for food. All staff are lovely and very helpful ☺️

The restaurant has really friendly and helpful staff, the first night here I arrived quite late (traffic was horrendous! 9 hours on the road), and asked if I could have food boxed for my room. Not a problem! And the staff on breakfast duty were also amazing, and even helped to get a stray dog which was wandering aimlessly outside reunited with it's owner! Really nice and clean, well laid out, highly recommended!
Our mother was here last week and was so impressed with the food and service my brother and I brought her back today to see what all the fuss was about. We all had fish and chips... Quality!!! does not do justice to our whole experience. Be back soon.
