Great pub with lovely home made food. Changing selection of specials so there's always something new to try. The Sunday roasts are GORGEOUS! Good choice of meats, then large portion of meat & selection of seasonal veggies. And they bring you extra gravy without being asked! Result! Prices very reasonable & quality is excellent as is the service. So nice to find a pub with genuinely helpful, knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend this pub to anyone.

The Red Lion first visit and what a lovely time we had. Friendly staff...warm and inviting atmosphere. Lovely Garden area if it is warm enough to sit out. All the food is excellent and mouth watering. Would recommend a visit you will not be disappointed..
We visited today as it was my Dads Birthday and my parents have never been here before. Lovely waitress who was very welcoming and friendly.
The food is lovely and fresh and the portion size was very generous which is always great when hungry.
Definitely worth a visit if you are around the Vale.

Only stopped for 1 drink but Sunday lunch smelt gorgeous! Nice big beer garden and a good sized car park. One of the more expensive pubs.

Fabulous cozy dog friendly pub with gorgeous food and lovely staff. Very warm welcome from Molly and Risha who looked after us brilliantly. We had some small plates which had beautifully balanced equisite flavours and a naughty but wonderful sticky toffee pudding. We popped in as we were passing not knowing anything about the place, but are so glad we did as it exceeded all our expectations - definately our new favourite place. Thank you guys xxxx ❤️

Really loved the atmosphere and friendliness, it was very busy, with only 3 staff serving, but waits were not unduly long, and the mushroom and Halloumi burgers were devoured enthusiastically. The roast dinner was very generous.
