Went to a concert here, great venue with friendly, helpful staff. There is a bar serving a variety of drinks, plus a mobile bar for the interval. There are different levels in the building, so a few sets of stairs to climb - not sure if there is a lift or not. Both the exterior and interior of the building are imposing with intricate plasterwork. My only negative would be the lack of signage as to the seating, with several entrances to the hall it was guesswork knowing which door was the best for your seat booking.

Comfortable seating. Good view of stage. Excellent show. Dreadful mess left my public. Why can't empty packets, ice-cream containers and drinks containers be disposed of properly and NOT left on the theatre floor? It is a lovely theatre in a stunning building, I just wish people showed some respect.

Superb night watching #UKPFE ...Seats very comfortable, very polite house staff, even though there are 2 bars, not enough staff to man them on very busy nights..plenty of nearby parking...accessible to all

Good venue good show ,but they really do need to have more staff on at the bar, Or sell water/ nonalcoholic drinks at the icecream stand which was absent of queues but was manned. But overall we had a fabulous night at Johhny Cash .

Situated in Bolton Town Hall, the Albert Halls is truly well preserved and looked after. However, if you're going to an event here, don't plan to eat in Bolton as there aren't many good restaurants within easy walking distance. The Courthouse or Ciao Napoli is about it! Now to the venue. We were watching Marti Pellow, bars were very busy not many places to sit and enjoy your drink so we went to the hall. This is when it all went to pot. Seats are easy to find a bit restrictive, but it is an old building, so I can cope with that. What I couldn't cope with was the over zealous staff with their paparazzi flash lights. They spoiled the night parading up and down looking for people who may sneak a photo.... it was overkill. Great venue spoilt by some heavy-handed staff.

This hall is in the historic Bolton Town Hall. It was built at the time when Bolton was part of the textile manufacturing revolution. So money was no object. Without checking, I would guess that the maximum seating on the staggered aisles, is 300. There are lifts available for those that need to get from the ground floor. Staff appear to look after those in wheelchairs, so there's no issue there. This trip was to take an eleven year old grandson to see The Adams Family show. Which was on its final show of this visit. It was well done. Prices reflect that this is used as a local venue, so far from expensive.

First time at the Albert Hall, and was a great experience. Had tiered seating high up, with a great view of the artists, sound was good and plenty of staff to direct you to the correct area etc, all were very helpful. Would highly recommend a visit.

The "Box Office" where we picked up our "tickets" was a basic table with a couple of staff mostly selling cheap items. The tickets were just a scrap of paper with our seat allocation quickly scribbled on (this was cheaper than the print your own option), staff were very polite (had we wanted to, we could easily have just walked in and as not all tickets were sold, we could have watched the performance for free). We booked balcony tickets. There was no balcony. It was just a back row. The volume of the performance was excessive, much louder than the cinema. The venue looked lovely inside and the seating was in excellent condition and fairly comfortable. The toilets were extremely clean, I was very impressed as I had to take the kids several times and they were always spotless.
