Excellent high end food available here. Can be quite expensive but perfect for special occasions.
The shop is always very clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. The upstairs clothing department is surprisingly clean and any time there has been the occasional sale I have been able to get something fantastic. Would recommend, especially for ingredients for a quick meal.
I love marks and spences very much . Their lingerie and night wear is really nice. They have designs , coloufull tops and sweaters ! 🙂

My favourite place for underwear just a bit disappointed last few visits as no one available for the bra fittings. Apparently now you have to make an appoinment?
Other than that a great place for food, drink, and excellent quality children's school clothing.
Visit at least once a week.
Always polite and helpful staff. Place is clean and well-stocked. At M & S you may pay a bit more for some things but the quality is consistently A+ which makes it far greater value for money. My go-to place for groceries, especially fresh fruit and veg.
In the store this week as I was waiting to be served I observed a young sales assistant called Helen patiently dealing with an elderly lady. It turned out to be a very complicated task but the assistant never sounded rushed or impatient. She even accompanied her round the store to find the items she
Slow service wouldn't honour free voucher I had for a cake and cuppa said and I quote manager says we're giving away to much stock so we're not accepting them anymore. But otherwise nice cuppas pleasant cafe very busy and popular
I like this branch very much, I've known many of the staff for years and they are always friendly. I'm just glad Bolton has an M&S in challenging times for retail. It's the heart of shopping in this town, and I hope despite the shoplifting and people smashing the doors in the other week, it keeps go
This is a lovely store, very pleasant to walk round. Great staff that are always helpful. My wife does tell me though that the ladies washroom is looking shabby, with paint peeling from walls inside the cubicle.
Generally good layout. The food prices are sometimes surprisingly reasonable; and sales throughout the rest of the store, usually mean I get very good quality for a huge fraction of the original price.
My partner needed some wide fitting shoes with a velcro fastening. A very nice assistant helped us. She also went to find an extra chair for me to sit on. We both have mobility problems. She was very friendly & helpful
