If you're looking for friend chicken then this is place to go. By far the best Allen's out of all of them and it's extremely consistent. I always order from here and I'm looking forward to ordering again. Thank you for the great service every time.

First visit to this place after being massively disappointed several times at another "fried chicken" outlet.
Wow it was bloody amazing, the chicken pieces and wings were so tasty and tender, not dry at all, freshly cooked and everythin still hot after driving 4 miles home.
Friendly service and val
This place has a lot of negative reviews, I tried it twice now - both times the food was nice. Slightly expensive and the taste doesn't warrant a 5* review but would recommend if you're in the area and want a quick takeaway. Customer service is great 👍

Gravy is the best , still using KFC 1980 recipe when they was affiliated.
Chips and gravy from here cannot be beaten .
The fried chicken I feel is sometimes left in the warmer too long .

I visited this place last week.
We ordered about 10 Burger Meals and the Manager Kamran was great. The service was quick and he threw in a few bags of chicken wings. The food was excellent and i will be coming back again.
Visited recently with my grandson and the man couldn't have been nicer, he was lovely to my grandson and the food was really good, highly recommended
Rate Allen's to be better than kfc, especially their chicken Gravey, would recommend it and you'll will agree with me. The branch at Bolton, staff are friendly and will go the extra mile for you and give there honest opinion.
The chicken here is way better than KFC and the chicken gravy is ,oh my god , this place beats KFC in every way and an even bigger bonus it's not got rats running everywhere like kfc has
Just had our food and it was lovely. Nice and hot. The delivery guy was very friendly and polite. The waiting time from placing our order to receiving it was quicker than expected.

Forgot to give me my chips for 1 meal, hence 1 star taken off.

Honestly allens had gone massively down hill over the last few years and after going to the town centre one i had stopped going all together, i just happened to nip in and grab classic burger and chips, and my mate got chips and gravy, honestly it was really good, hot, fresh and tasted really good.
The staff are funny and friendly, the chicken was delicious and the premises was very clean
