I booked afternoon tea at the Coffee Shop for a group of friends. Mark was really helpful. We had the Snug at the back of the shop which is very private, away from other customers but close enough to Mark and colleagues if we needed any help. The sandwiches were served on delicious artisan breads with 3 various fillings - one meat, one fish and one veggie. These can be altered according to taste and requirements. They were lovely. Freshly made scones with butter, jam and clotted cream. We also had a number of mini cakes e.g. Brownies, cheesecakes amongst others. At the end we were also presented with lemon sorbets in little glass pots. A lovely touch. Everything was beautifully presented on little picnic tables. A really different idea. We had choice of teas/coffees and soft drinks. Service was good and discreet. The shop closes at 4 but we were not rushed out we left around 4.40pm. We would absolutely recommend the Coffee Shop and we will return! Thank you very much for a lovely afternoon to Mark and Staff!
Enjoyed a delicious lunch and coffee here today. Good menu with toasties, sandwiches on a good choice of artisan breads and light bites. I had halloumi on 6 seed bread with rocket drizzled with balsamic vinegar with chutney and a demi tassel of soup which we discovered is like a little shot pot. Rounded off with a gingerbread latte. Comfortable surroundings served by friendly staff who know there produce. Plenty of surrounding street parking. Apologies if I have any of the ingredients wrong or missed. Well worth a visit and a return visit.
Had a baby shower afternoon tea party in the snug at the coffee shop. Excellent food, excellent service and friendly staff. Highly recommend a visit. X

I organised our Horwich Leisure Centre Christmas 2017 Lunch for Wednesday the 20/12/2017 at 12:00 for 6 hungry festive swimming teachers
Simply we were spoilt !
The quality of service and food is second to none!
The owners Mark and Carol are truly beautiful people and so are there team very attentive and professional
We will definitely be back next year, if not before π

Fantastic little place. Can't believe I've only just discovered it. Loved the decor and the newly refurbished little snug at the back of the shop. Jonathan was so friendly and accommodating. Only had time to sample the filter coffee which was delicious but will definitely be back for a bite to eat as well very soon.
I will be recommending this little gem to all my friends.
Fantastic place! Very accommodating after our group walk with lots of prams. Owners are lovely! Baby change is amazing!!! Defo worth a trip!
Refreshingly old fashioned friendly coffee shop with top quality local produce and a cosy atmosphere. They are polite, respectful and yes they take the time to open the door for you as you leave, customers allowing of course. In the short time they have been doing business they have developed a firm yet growing clientele and though service can sometimes be slow this is testament to how very busy they are and the growing reputation of the lovely little coffee shop and it's staff.
Had a lovely baby shower in the snug today. Yummy afternoon tea, accommodating with dietary requirements. Lovely friendly staff. Nice place and the snug is perfect for a group gathering. Will definitely be back.
Everything was bob on and the food was on point. Not too pricey and the staff were very welcoming. Thank you, we will be back again :)

Went with my friend today and our 6 children for a fab hot chocolate and catch up. Loved that we could all sit comfortably around one large table. Kids loved playing with the building bricks and doing the jigsaw that were in the snug. Lovely friendly staff x

You always work very hard and your standards are excellent....I love coming to your coffee shop and trying your fantastic coffee and cakes. It's difficult sometimes when it does get busy, but your food and coffee is worth the wait....sometimes it's difficult to please everyone all the time.....your coffee shop is always welcoming and a lovely relaxed atmosphere and I just love it......looking forward to my next flat white and cake. X
Thank you to Mark, Carole and staff for supporting us today with our drop in and chat session to seek mentors for vulnerable children and young people in Bolton as part of the Bolton Lads and Girls Club Programme. The back area worked well and everyone enjoyed the lovely coffees and teas. So supportive for community activities - a great community venue! Thank you.
Great cafe with good local support. It's of the beaten track, so it's popularity has everything to do with their service and product. We called in for lunch. Busy place but had no trouble in finding a table. Good menu, reasonably priced. Great coffee. This was my first visit, but it won't be my last. Think I might take my granddaughters for breakfast. Looks good in the menu and I'm tempted by their full breakfast.
This cafe seems to be doing well, deservedly so.
A lovely coffee shop tucked away in a nice neighbourhood. Fantastic place to have those chats as well as some nice food. The coffee is lovely and I do not hesitate to recommend it to anyone who wants to have some nice time.
I get most of my PhD thesis work done here and the staff is so nice and caring. I like that nice background music and chatter- makes me have a go at writing! They now know my order and the table!

Lovely coffee shop, stopped off for lunch. Great choice of hot food as well as sandwiches and toastie fillings and can choose from lots of different types of bread. Liked the little potato pile and tiny bowl of soup that came with it! Good choice of drinks and cakes too.
Loved this little coffee shop, could not believe how many vegan options there were (of course plenty of regular stuff too) but it's refreshing to have choice for once, especially in Bolton! I had the vegan cheeze and tomato toastie and added a cup of celery soup, really delicious and very filling all washed down with an oat milk latte sprinkled with vegan choccy! The atmosphere was great too and the staff all very friendly and helping to open the door for my elderly Aunt Babs.
I also got a slice of vegan carrot cake to go which was also yummy, very impressed and have actually reserved a table to come back with my mum and sister on Friday! Thank you and I've added you to Happy Cow for other vegans who would like to have options for lunch in our area π
Edit: went back and had the portobello mushroom salad and a cup of soup and my sister had the halloumi open sandwich which looked great and mum had the beef sandwich, all tasted fab! Really great coffee too :) thanks!
Lovely Cafe. Cheese and chutney sandwich with mini soup and potato. Great service. Will definitely have to try and find it again when in the area.

First time visiting today, called in for a coffee and a sandwich on a meeting break. Really warm welcome, excellent service and lovely staff. The coffee was very good and our food was lovely, really liked the menu, the bread was gorgeous and the choices really catered for everyone. Will definitely be calling in again soon! Thanks!!
