Strid Wood Tea Rooms - Bolton Abbey - Photo album

Amazing welcoming staff, really friendly, very helpful, they let us borrow their phone due to a lack of reception. Let us get cold drinks despite being technically closed. Overall, really helpful and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend. We got 2 ice creams, 2 cold drinks and a hot chocolate
Very friendly staff in a lovely, quiet location. Staff were chatty and interested in what I was up to. The food and coffee was good and at a fair price. The next time I visit The Strid, I know where I'll be stopping for lunch!
No idea about food we only stopped to use the toilet only to realise it was part of Bolton Abbey and that's why everything cost a fortune. Yes lovely place some lovely walks and the coffee was ok. The toilets though are a distance away from the cafe which if your disabled is a long walk away.
Walked up from Barden bridge along the river. Service was pleasant enough and prices for tea, coffee cakes etc what you would expect from an "estate shop". At times seemed more concerned about making sure anyone using the car park didn't sneak off down the trails without paying. Can see why at £15 j
This tea room is lovely. It’s clean and friendly, it offers an array of choices. As we called in here for a drink and rest, they also offered to put the extra water we had purchased into the freezer until we left, it was a hot day so this was welcomed, there are bowls outside for dogs to drink. The
Friendly staff, a great location and ample parking. Always nice to visit for tea and cake whilst out on a motorcycle ride. I'm actually surprised more bikers don't frequent this little gem of a cafe, as the roads surrounding bolton abbey are great to ride.
Lovely little gift shop, great selection of items on the menu, the staff are helpful and friendly, and of course the views are stunning.
They are doing their best with social distancing but the place is small and a queue can build up very quickly. The two ladies must do at least 30 miles/day with all this running around and the younger one who is serving is really kind and lovely. We had hot chocolate, tea and cakes and everything was
Nice place to visit for coffee/tea and a slice of cake. A very pleasant lady serving. Overall a good experience 👍
The most stressed cafe owner I have ever met. But lovely none the less. The young staff were amazing and a pleasure. Would definitely go back. Beware the benches and stuff outside are super strictly only for patrons of the cafe, no packed lunches or picnics. Would benefit from a self clean picnic ar
