A great little cafe a short walk from Bolton Abbey, with a lovey terrace at the rear. An amazing selection of homemade scones and delicious cakes, the chocolate sparkle and lemon drizzle cakes were amazing. Lunch menu includes sandwiches, panini and sausage rolls. With welcoming and friendly staff it’s definitely worth a visit if you are in the area! Will certainly call again!

Lovely cafe with friendly, quick service and great food. Bit of a hidden gem as easy to walk past to go to other tea rooms but well worth a stop :-)

Fabulous little cafe with the tastiest homemade food and wonderfully friendly staff. We really enjoyed our lunch here today, and can highly recommend the puddings plus doggy and child friendly too, a big plus after a walk on a cold winters day, we will certainly be back.

Just had lunch here - they were able to do a gluten-free toastie just like that, no worries about not having gf bread, and it was delicious, too! And a great pot of tea too!

Last Sunday I was out & about at Bolton Abbey I had a lovely walk with Chris. The day started with a visit to "Tea on the Green". A superb bacon bap and a very warm welcome from Stuart and Cath made a good start to the day. We walked about eight mile returning for more nourishment later in the afternoon. Thanks again to Stuart and Cath. Guys if you are out that way it is well worth calling in to "Tea on the Green".

Great service in a fresh, clean cafe. Service warm and friendly, and food fabulous too. Might need more toilets (just got one) on a busy day, but that's the only improvement I can think of!

Best tuna roll I've had in ages, especially as they replaced the cucumber with red onion to make it my favourite. Lovely fresh salad on the side and a great strong cup of good old Yorkshire tea to go with it. My friend Amy,s wrap of tuna with shredded carrot was surprisingly delicious, not tried that before. Thank you very much 😊

Delicious food, lovely setting. Shame about some noisy motorbikes, but that can't be helped and not the cafés fault. Friendly attentive staff and the lemon drizzle cake was yummy.

Lovely food and the staff were so lovely. The covid regs are very well done and they're all set up with the track and trace. The food, we had the special of bubble and squeak, asked for no bacon and they substituted in beans. The poached eggs were yummy. Highly recommend the food. Seriously tasty!!
