The BEST pub in Bolsover. The home cooked food is incredible - especially the chips. Lovely open log fire and attentive staff. highly recommend. Will be paying another visit - just for the gorgeous food!
we had an absolutely gorgeous Sunday roast here today, with a very generous amount of beef and veg, and yummy mash. the gravy was freshly prepared too, and horseradish was lush, thank you!

Had a lovely meal today. Very friendly staff and the food was gorgeous. Home cooked chips were yummy and the batter on the onion rings was beautiful. The meals were huge and really good value for money. We would definitely recommend this pub.
My Nan lives on her own and so we have been taking advantage of the Sunday Dinner service which can be delivered to her home. The foods lovely and I love that the elderly who do live on there own, or anyone who fancies, can have it delivered to there door step. I have also been in to this pub a few

Best ale selection by quality, in the bolsover area, in my opinion. Great views over Derbyshire countryside in the rear beer garden. I am yet to try the food but looks ok from what I have seen. We've not tried the food but often frequented for a drink. The staff are friendly and accommodating. We had our first wedding anniversary in the back room and they put on a wonderful buffet. we had a great night.

Make a nice pint and a nice place! They have a seating area way out back past the car park with an amazing view! Though it can be a bit windy so take a coat. Definitely worth a visit. Makes a good first pint stop, especially if you head out around the time the sun sets.
It's always been a nice pub where you can if you like take you little ones. It's got great views looking over the valley in good daylight and benches to sit at. There's parking but not much so if it's busy you may have to park on the road. Sunday dinners have always been lovely there and always get
