Great local fish & chips.
It’s been a long running family favourite for many years, for a good reason it’s great.
It’s very consistent, food is always good. We commonly get cod and chips. And the curry sauce is just perfect.
It is a touch more expensive compared to others around, but well worth a visit. And wholly recommended.
Having found out my family came from Middleton, we decided to take a trip and discover the area. Finishing the day with fish and chips one the beach. We telephoned first and made the order before we walked up. The couldn’t of been more helpful. We walked up and only waited five minutes while they packed it .. the service was exceptional.. once on the beach (the only place that makes fish and chips taste better) we tucked in. Fish was perfect , crispy batter firm flaky fish, chips ,chunky and crispy. My Daughter who has a allergy ,had the chicken which was again well cooked. So all in all if your near Middleton pick up a cod and chips head for the beach it couldn’t get better.. just remember to take home your rubbish.
Best fish and chips around for us. Have travelled fair distances to enjoy they're fish. Family owned and run. A must try 👌
There has been some good conversations on where is the best chippy nearby, but this one is king! portions are great, fish is fresh and beautiful and the extras you can get are spot on.
The staff are friendly and funny and quick. id recommend this place to anyone coming to visit that need a proper chippy!

Best fish & chips in West Sussex
One of the best chippies in the world of West Sussex! I used to visit here with my mum and dad when we came down on holiday from Scotland, back in the early 70's. Friendly staff, amazing fish and chips and lots of memories. I now live in Cornwall and had to get fish and chips when I was up visiting recently. So glad it's still going and still fabulous!
Amazing fish and chips, I personally like the Haddock although they do sometimes take longer to serve this due to the specially cooking as not all customers would order it. Very useful car park making it easy to order and pick up! Our go to pickup takeaway in the area!
The chips here are always nice. Never greasy either. Come in a nice takeaway box with a proper fork too. My only issue with this place is that it's a little over priced and you don't get the biggest of portions. My local chippy is just as good, but cheaper and a small portion at the local is as big as a large at the olde chippy! The service is great as you'll be served by happy and friendly staff. Food was fresh cooked too. Great! 🙂
