Treated ourselves to chippy tea tonight. Hot, fresh and delicious as always! I have a serious dairy allergy but because of the batter they use, I don’t have to order ‘special’ which I love. Even got to enjoy their lovely onion rings! Top notch!
I make a detour to this chippy every time I come to Cornwall! Lovely staff, good seating for waiting and the food is delish! Best chicken nuggets I’ve ever had and the chips are fresh cut every day! 10/10
Really nice chippy. My favourite in Bodmin. Not greasy. Lovely dry brown chips. Battered burger is really nice with good flavour. Doesn't seem like a cheap catering burger. Cheap hot drinks too if you're eating your takeaway out. Highly recommended 👌
My order last night was delicious, the curry sauce in particular made the meal! Warm and friendly atmosphere despite how busy they were they still demonstrated excellent customer service.
Well recommended in my mind the best chip shop in Bodmin but that's just me! Why not give it a try?. If you are in a rush phone your order ahead it's a lot quicker 🙂🙂🙂🙂

Busy at peak times with a 5 to 10 minute wait but they are super efficient so it's not too bad.

The best fish I have ever tasted, the cod was chunky, perfectly cooked, unbelievable tasty and the batter so light and crispy. The chips were also outstanding. I’d highly recommend this fish and chip shop to anyone.
Perfect fish and chips. Very tasty crispy batter. Very generous portions served piping hot a cooked to order. Well worth the short wait. Will definitely be back again for more
College Lane Fish and Chips are brilliant tasting food. All cooked to order even including Saveloys. Cod is very good. Portions a decent size. Downside is purely down to waiting time when ordering and cooking. Can be a long wait occasionally. Car parking is limited and car parking is not ideal.

If there was a possibility to give 4.5 stars, i would. The batter was nice and crispy, well cooked thick piece of cod, the chips was moist and fresh too, they do gluten and dairy free fish (yey!), and the staff was really helpful.
