What a little cafe this is. Our train was shortly arriving but this did not stop the lady to rustle up a sausage and egg roll and bacon roll in no time. We were waiting for a London train on a Sunday and this little cafe was open, a surprise for most station options are closed on Sunday’s Nice cup of tea and a couple of cakes sorted us out whilst waiting. Staff welcoming and friendly
When it's cold and rainy there is nothing better than a warm and friendly (and minuscule) coffee place like this. Perfect if you wait for the train. Extras: exquisite range of biscuits. Good coffee. Smiling bartender.
Small cafe in old signal box up the steps. 4-5 stools looking out onto platform and a couple of tables. Refreshingly old fashioned. Home made cake wrapped in cling film, hot drinks at prices less than the corporate chains. Happy to use it again.
