Best Cornish pasty we tasted during our stay, plus the cakes were lush as well. Pity it’s so far from home otherwise it would effect my waistline 😂
The Tuna and Cheese Panini was soft and generously filled with sesame seeds on the top, it is really good! Also the fresh cream doughnut with jam on the top is divine.
Delicious bakeries, pasties are one of the best and have grown up eating them. Cakes and other pastries are also just as yummy.
Nice place for a spot of lunch. Sausage baps were great and Malcolm Barnecutt's pasties are the best in Cornwall!

Staying in Bodmin for a couple of days a local taxi driver told us these pasties were the best. He was not wrong. The steak pasty filling was just perfect and the pastry was excellent. Clean, split level bakery then dining area up a couple of steps. Extra dining area at back. Toilets up another level. Food hot and service friendly and prompt. Prices very reasonable. Gift products also on sale. Just coffee, light lunch or full meal. All tasty.
Reasonably priced, beautifully cooked comfort food in a lovely old building. Staff are attentive and helpful - could be happier but that's true of any employee these days! My favourite place to eat in Bodmin.
A real gem. Unpretentious, lovely food. Teapots, and pleasant staff. However can't give 5 stars as inexplicably they use black plastic straws. With all the pollution in the sea, and recycling issues, this needs to be addressed.
Clean and airy cafe at the rear of the shop (up a few steps, at first floor level). Good selection of food and snacks (delicious paninis - best I've had in a long time), service is quick and staff are helpful. Good value for money.
