Came for a roast on Sunday with my husband, son, brother and our dad who was over from New Zealand. We've been here a few times so knew we'd get a good roast and it didn't disappoint. It was lovely to see it busy! Lovely wine too
Lovely historic pub with great food. BIG portions and warm service. Perfect for families. Thank you for an enjoyable meal :)
An excellent bar found by accident... a recommendation from another pub that had stopped doing food after 6pm. What an amazing find...food was excellent, drinks great the service with a smile and friendly, atmosphere with lovely background music playing...we will be back this week sometime... 😁😁 5 s
Nice old pub. Came for a sandwich at lunchtime. Place was slowly filling up. One staff member running round trying to do everything. Jan told us she loves her job....this was obvious! Great service from Jan and the ham sandwich was delicious 😋
Lovely place for a lunch I had the mussels which were excellent. Hubby had steak which he really enjoyed. Lovely friendly staff - so helpful. Thoroughly recommend. Will definitely visit again next time I’m in Bodmin.
Great service. And lovely food. All staff are very polite and helpful. Held my late father's wake here and all preparations went well. Louise did a fantastic job. Will definitely be returning 😊
We had an after wedding (Bodmin Registry office) gathering of friends and family. The staff at The Weavers were so helpful and accommodating. We took over most of the bar area and ate and drank. The food, drinks and service were fabulous. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you.
We had a lovely meal, our dog really loved sitting under the table. Recommend the hamp, egg and chips as well as the pies - beautiful!
Fantastic experience. Waited over five minutes to be served and then the people who came in after me were served first. I walked out, and so would you. EDIT, have been back since and the customer service is a lot better. Happy to update my review.
An absolutely outstanding pub!! Made to feel so welcome, from a great staff team. Such a cozy warm interior, with gorgeous food. And loved the Movie Mondays during our stay. Miss this place now we're home so much!!!
From the moment you walk into the pub you feel comfy and cozy. Jan front of house was so accommodating and lovely to talk to. We stopped off while on route to the south of Cornwall during some really bad weather. It was the end of lunch service and the pub was very busy but the staff round us a table and we had a really fabulous roast dinner. Lovely food and very friendly staff.
Popped in for a bite to eat after a double at the cinema. Nice food and really friendly. Hardest working manageress I have ever met. Serving at the bar and taking food to the tables. Really enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere.
Just had a lovely meal here to finish off our family holiday in Cornwall. Staff were extremely friendly, the food was delicious and huge portions (fish and chips were beautifully cooked!). If we stay in the area again we will be back!
What a delightful little hidden gem. We were recommended here by our hotel staff and are glad we paid them a visit. We were seated promptly, the service was okay and the food delicious (well worth the price for the size portions). We just took down 1 star because we'd have rather not heard about the
Just been in for locals night again and yet another great night. 1st Monday of every month is locals night, 3 courses for just £15 a head. Lovely food and staff as normal, this is a lovely pub. Highly recommended, as is booking a table.
