A lovely friendly pub where you are made to feel welcome as soon as you walk in. My partner and I had an enjoyable hour drinking and chatting to the locals. We look forward to meeting you all again at the beer festival

Lovely quirky dog friendly pub. When we walked in we were made very welcome by the Landlord and his staff. It has a great friendly atmosphere. There is a good selection of real ales. The Landlord is very knowledgeable about his ales and keeps a decent pint. I went for Jail Ale. We will be back next time we are in Bodmin. If you're ever in Bodmin and like real ales and a friendly atmosphere then the Hole in The Wall is the place to be

Oasis for ales and conviviality. Friendly regulars welcome strangers. The blonde barkeeps have sunny dispositions. Fascinating memorabilia fill the walls and ceiling. Nice beer garden attached. Pleasantly dark inside so allow for your eyes to adjust if coming in from the sun!

Old pub that used to be a jail, in the middle of Bodmin. Slightly extended and with a courtyard garden, it has plenty of history and old features. Good selection of beers and friendly landlord and staff.

I'm an expat desperate for good real ale while in UK. This place delivered it. Bass weirdly enough. They don't do food but very happy for you to bring in your own, pasties, sarnies or even fish and chips. Very friendly The entry is genuinely a hole in the wall, have faith, seek and you shall find

I've just moved in over the road from this pub and I'm absolutely delighted that this lovely pub is my local. I popped in to have a drink and use their Wifi (thanks to Openreach for messing up my internet). The service was so helpful and friendly and the whole atmosphere was warm, cosy and everything you want your local to be. Will definitely be back and very often!
