Lanivet Inn - Bodmin - Photo album

I came here for a meal out with my wife, brother and his girlfriend. We didn't book but just kind of found it nearby our campsite and thought we'd go out for dinner. We arrived, parked and headed in. It was fairly busy. We asked for a table and we're seated. Wooden chairs, clean table, carpet, windo
Super little pub. Very warm and friendly staff and a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. We had a lovely meal, the food was hot and delicious. I had the soup of the day (carrot and lentil) which must be the best that I've ever tasted. My son had the creamy mushrooms, which were excellent, as was my hu
Was greeted by staff and made to feel welcome... the food was excellent we both had the belly pork with dauphinoise potatoes. very good service by all.. very good value for money and plenty of parking space in car park. HIghly recommended will be going back very soon
Booked for my birthday but was running late so asked if we could move the booking, not a problem. Arrived at said time & greeted by the chef to whom we apologized for our delayed booking. Ordered our meals which came out in very good time & were fantastic. I personally had the mushroom & pea risotto
Nice venue and the outdoor tent is great. Staff seem friendly and accomodating. The food okay but wouldn't hurt to add some seasoning, some herbs maybe.
Whilst visiting the area, wanted to go out for a good evening meal. We were advised by someone working in St Austell's Brewery, that Lanivet Inn aka "Panda" serves good food and local beers. Booked a table for 7pm (good that we did, as it was quite full). We were greeted by friendly bar staff and so
Pretty wonderful - stuffed to the gunwales but still found room for us. Another pair of customers came outside to get us to share their table inside as it was cold out there. Never met b4 but clearly typical of the clientele. You can't beat that really, can you! Food was pretty good too much 😊
We had a roast dinner, the meat, veg and Yorkshire pudding were lovely, I would have preferred my roast potatoes a little bit more cooked and crispy. Other than that though the food was lovely. Puddings were delicious. The service from all staff we interacted with was very friendly and welcoming.
We love Lanivet Inn. I lived in the Village about 25 years ago and it has changed so much.If you come off the Bodmin bypass Lanivet sits just below on the old road. We didn't book and that wasn't a problem. We sat in the main bar but would advise to ask if you can be seated in the dining rooms furth
We sat outside as quite noisy inside for the dog, food was fast and tasted and looked great, good value for money and great variety to choose from
