Amazing service!! We’ve had a delivery and used an isolated shopping slot in the past weeks and I cannot fault either. Staff are a pleasure, service is great and everything is set up so safely. Thank you half penny green! xx
We had a fizz afternoon tea, all the food was well presented and tasty. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend it anybody.
Sean (or maybe Shaun?), from Halfpenny Green (or maybe he’s from California) took us and our guests through a fabulous wine tasting of really great wines with his lovely Scottish accomplice from Saint Andrew’s doing the cheese. Highly recommend this lovely local experience.
Fab gin tasting , staff knowledgeable and very friendly . Have done wine tasting too. Highly recommend both experiences !
Excellent experience Gin tasting yesterday. Sean took us through the tasting experience and was fantastic. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional and taught me a great deal.
This was a fantastic afternoon and I would recommend this whole-heartedly to any fellow Gin lover.

Absolutely fantastic. The lady who delivered our wine tasting was so lovely and answered every question my husband asked, and he asked a lot. Lovely wine and cheese would recommend to anyone.
We had a plough mans and a side of chips and a bottle of wine. It was so good l wanted to eat it all over again except that l couldn't because l was so full. Excellent value for money so tasty would recommend it and cannot wait to go there again.
Absolutely fantastic experience here!
We were gifted whiskey tasting vouchers for Christmas, found the booking process very easy, and excitedly waited for the date to come around. Having lived in Stourbridge for 25 years, and elsewhere in the Black Country for another 10, I can’t believe I’ve never been before. The entrance is beautiful, with little indie businesses on site (I bought a lovely bracelet from the first shop on the right) and a large building with the bar, restaurant and shop.
All staff we met were very friendly, and welcoming. I felt very much at home! The lady who did our tasting experience was an absolute dream, she was very chatty and absolutely hilarious! She even tried a whiskey we enjoyed despite not liking them much herself, and made some top notch recommendations to us.
We ended up staying for food, and buying alcohol, chutneys, and other treats from the shop downstairs. It was absolutely wonderful and we wouldn’t hesitate to return!
Brilliant night at Halfpenny Green. Stopped in our campervan through Brit Stops. Had breakfast in the restaurant the following morning. Excellent food and service. Bought a couple of bottles of wine that were reasonably priced. Will definitely be back
Had a super lunch in the restaurant before attending a gin tasting experience. Staff very efficient and service was excellent. Would definitely recommend it and hope to return for a wine tasting next time. Good choice of gifts, cards, chocolates and of course the many bottles of wine and spirits to choose from.
Came here with my sister, nephew and some friends first time here. The place looked really nice, staff where very friendly & accommodating, I had eggs Benedict from the breakfast menu with some tea it’s was delicious, the shop adjacent to the restaurant was full of different foods and gifts
Would recommend to anyone
What a lovely place - so peaceful and friendly. Excellent restaurant and deli with a wide range of produce. Lovely wine too at reasonable prices. Selection of small craft shops on site.
Had a lovely time yesterday at the cheese and wine tasting. Shared with a friend for a birthday present. Gluten free crackers were provided as I'm coeliac. The wine and cheese was excellent and very well presented in delightful surroundings. Margaret, our 'guide', was very friendly and answered our questions. I can thoroughly recommend this experience. Thank you.
Our first Sunday lunch here since the new build has been opened. The experience was OK but sadly nothing more. The service was pleasant enough but unfortunately it was also slow and felt "chaotic". The food, especially the meat seemed processed rather than a "farm shop" offering (such as Essington) that we were hoping for. Sadly the beef was reminiscent of Birds Eye frozen slices. At £13.95 per head I didn't think it was good value for what we had although the desserts did rescue what would otherwise have been a disappointing meal. It was also quite noisy, exaggerated by the new hard surfaces. I wish I could have been more complimentary.
Lovely place .... went for breakfast ..... had the Full Vineyard breakfast..... Excellent and really nice.... even better with the log burner going. Then shop and deli was lovely to look round with ability to buy their own wines.
Definitely be going back.
Well worth a visit, purchase the tour which is very informative with wine tastings halfpenny wines. Pay a little extra for a fine lunch (similar) to a ploughmans.
We visited the vineyards for a whiskey tasting experience. Our host was Roweena. Her knowledge was excellent and she ensured that we all had a fantastic afternoon. Nothing was rushed. Highly recommended if you love whiskey and great company.
Really friendly staff and great atmosphere. The food has been to the highest standard and quality every time we've been here. Planning on trying the high tea next time 😉 hope we enjoy it as much as a lovely old lady did sitting behind us on our last visit. She seemed to be having a great time! ❤️
Wine tasting experience. Helen, our host, was excellent! She was extremely knowledgeable on the subject of wine making and the history of Halfpenny Green. She guided us admirably through the tasting process. Afterwards we were served a ploughman’s lunch with a berry meringue pudding. The lunch was disappointing. However, the overall experience was very interesting.
Haven’t been here since it has been done out. It has been done lovely, very light and airy. Breakfast was lovely, if you have tea or normal coffee you get a refill but as we chose latte you don’t (which wasn’t a problem) you also get a choice of white or granary toast. We looked out over lovely views, and watched planes that had taken off from local airport.
There is a gift shop selling chocolates, biscuits, little gifts, cards & gift bags and wines etc. Upstairs there are bottles of spirits ( whisky, Gin, Liqueurs, brandy etc) downstairs is a deli counter with cheeses, olives, freezers with frozen meals, pastry, cakes.
Outside you then have little shops, we didn’t go in all of them, but there was a candle shop, coloured glass, carved wooden furniture and ornaments, wedding photography, dog grooming, beauty parlour, craft shops and a little Zoo.
