Ate at Anderson’s Restaurant on Wednesday this week. Pie Night ... We LOVE it ... Pie and glass of wine each and only £26 in total.
1 x amazing fish pie and
1 x Highland beef, mushroom and Cairngorm beer pie ... yum yum.
It was a lovely start to our my daughters and my Christmas festivities. The family have booked again for this Saturday, their last night open until January 2018. Thank you for a lovely start to our Christmas holidays.
Was at Anderson’s restaurant on Thursday we were a group of ten in a range of ages (youngest being 2). What a fantastic place food amazing staff couldn’t have been more friendly, would do anything to make sure you had a great time. If you want a home from home feeling Anderson’s is the place to go. O did I say the food was amazing Thank you all again xx
My husband and I visited the restaurant whilst on a short break in Boat of Garten. We went on Wednesday evening which is pie night. Pie and a drink for £13. I can honestly say it's one of the nicest pies I've tasted. Not something I'd normally order in a restaurant but I went for the ratatouille and goats cheese, my husband went for the beef, chorizo and red wine. They were delicious. The staff were very friendly and professional and there was a nice vibe to the restaurant. I would recommend visiting if you're in the area.
A special meal before a family wedding and it was brilliant! Everything from atmosphere to crockery was lovely! I had the chicken risotto dish which was incredibly tasty and the wine was perfect! Thank you - will definitely be back!
We love Andersons - friendly and accommodating staff with delicious fresh food and interesting menu. Advise you book during holidays and peak times as the secret is now out and they get very busy!
Great food and service- lovely wee place with a fantastic atmosphere, we can’t wait to go back!
What a lovely place. I was looking for somewhere decent to eat and this came up with top reviews hence the visit.
Busy on arrival and now I have been it’s understandable why. It was a pleasant evening so I sat outside and enjoyed it while ordering a sweet pepper starter, pizza for a main and chocolate bomb for a desert.
All delicious and served in great time and with polite and courteous staff. I would definitely visit again as the food was beautiful and the drinks the same.
The food in here is unbelievable, and I’ve ate all over Scotland.
This is up here with the best ever, my food was to die for.
The service is first class and the food is cooked and presented in front of you at the hatch.
You can see how much the presentation means to the chef.
Special mention to Claire, who makes you feel welcome, with a nice big smile as soon as you walk in, as do all the staff.
I called in late 9.10 pm and they gave me a seat right away.
The best phone call I ever made.
If you are up this way pop in you won’t regret it.
Amazing food I can’t find one fault in any of it, tremendous, don’t go past it, if I could I would give it 10 stars. **********
Lovely little restaurant. We stayed up in the area for a weekend and came here for first night. Would recommend booking in advance as was quite busy. Food was fabulous! We had the fish pie and venison. The sticky toffee pudding was the best so make sure you save room for dessert!
The staff works like a collective whole, helping each other out throughout the dining experience. We were super impressed with them. Next, I watched the pizza area and the kitchen. Both chefs cared immensely about their food presentation and taste of it. I don't know how anyone could be disappointed with their food. Lastly, my husband and I ate way more than we both normally do but the food was amazing. Drinks were wonderful. Please go and enjoy with this fabulous restaurant.

Amazing food, friendly service. We had a great meal there for my 30th birthday. The pardon peppers were incredible! The venison main was very tasty and a hearty meal, and to cap it all off, the best sticky toffee pudding I have ever had!
We visited this restaurant for my birthday and we throughly enjoyed it. The staff were friendly and attentive. The waitress (Claire) who took our order was very friendly and chatty. They even sung happy birthday which was a really nice touch. The food was very tasty with about 5 or 6 choices per course. The food was more towards fine dining than casual and as such the prices reflect this. We left very satisfied and would recommend for anyone in the area.
Yes, this is a great small restaurant that provides deliciousness at an affordable price. The staff are very kind and welcoming. There is a good selection of dishes and desserts. The food was fresh and you can see the chefs prepare it. The seats and table were okay and the atmosphere is not unique but the food compensates for that. They have a small area to park in the back, around 3 or so cars. Overall, it is a great experience and we really liked it!
Had a delicious three course meal tonight. Can’t fault them, really impressed with everything we tried. Will be returning and would recommend.
We were lucky to get a table without reservation. Very good food.
Would give it 6 stars if we could. Attended for the lunchtime menu on a Saturday could not rate highly enough. Priced at £15.99 for 3 courses (as of August 2019), 4 dining and everyone who attended could not fault any of the various menu items they chose. Service was friendly, efficient and professional.
Could easily charge double the price but by keeping prices as low as they have this is truly value for money. Five star dining at two star prices.
