Delightful! We went Friday just gone and the experience was so nice! Lovely staff, conversational and accommodating! Everyone was offered a free shot on the house which was nice and the food was really tasty. Will definitely be returning, especially when we can go inside, the decor looks so charming and quirky!
Overall really tasty food! Loved the tacos and burrito. Churros were nice although could be less crispy & delivery person seemed to overcharge us but I guess it was my fault for not asking for the price first. Will definitely get some tacos again!
I had the pleasure of working with Jamie when he lived down in London. I haven't yet been to his new business, or seen him in a few years. However, knowing how much energy Jamie gives to a place and how personable he is, I can only imagine Laurences will be amazing.
I hope to come through for a dinner and beers in the near future! (Even though I'm a dirty southern leaving this review, I hope I'm welcomed with the full northern charm!) Good luck Jamie, you thoroughly deserve it geeza! :)
Regular visitor here. Couldn't go this week due to lockdown so brought Laurence's home (oioi).
Unreal bait and drinks. Service is always great too. Dog friendly. Love walking down on a Saturday afternoon and can't wait until it's open again. Highly recommended.
Great restaurant! Staff are all lovely, the food was really nice, and the drinks were great. Has a really chilled vibe, very nice place to go for a bit of scran and a couple drinks
Went to opening night. Food was very tasty, an interesting mix of NE and Mexican. Atmosphere was brilliant, a real buzz in the place. Will be going back for more.
A fantastic project, with 25% of profit going to local arts. Jamie and his team have created something, that I'm sure will become a firm favourite for locals and visitors alike.
