The Red Lion - Blewbury - Photo album

An outstanding English pub in a very beautiful English village. The main road through Blewbury belies the incredible village that exists alongside. A warren of small roads lined with well kept houses, riverside leafy walks and history in abundance, seems to lead back to the Red Lion pub. Well it did
Absolutely outstanding! This pub has got to be one of the best hidden gems I have ever found. The landlord, John, is very kind, welcoming and polite. Nothing is too much trouble. The other staff are also brilliant. They are all friendly helpful people. The pub itself is a lovely building full of cha
A huge thanks to Annabel and John for hosting us last week at the Red Lion. A group of us from the UK, Europe and North America needed a venue for our workshop. Annabel, John and their staff went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed for our meeting to run smoothly. A number of us
A huge thank you to Annabelle and John yesterday for hosting the Wake for my mum's funeral, a former resident of Blewbury. The food was exquisite and the ambiance warm and welcoming. Although I live in London and my brother in Holland we'll be back as too good to stay away and wish I lived in Blew
Is this the best burger ever ? We went for a late lunch and it was the best beef burger we have had out for ages . We were also very pleased with the warm , friendly and attentive service . We could not ask for more . Many - many thanks Mary - Ann , Annabelle and John
We were made very welcome by the new Landlord and his crew. 2 excellent real Ales although there are plans for a 3rd. The menu looked very good and well priced. I will definitely want to visit again.
Had one of the best burgers I’ve ever had and some great wine in this lovely country pub garden in the heart of a beautiful village. The pub was buzzing until late with chatter from locals and it was a great atmosphere from staff and customers alike. Great service, couldn’t recommend it more highly.
Great place for a lunch party especially if weather’s OK for outside under the lovely tipi like canopy. Excellent canapes, nice roast pork and very good service.
Absolutely the most amazing Sunday lunch we have every had! Great owners and so understanding of my allergies. Looking forward to having our wedding lunch at this venue
A really great pub. The landlord and his staff were really welcoming. We went on one of their Open Mike nights and the atmosphere was fantastic. The act was a young singer/guitarist named George Parker and he was brilliant.
