Loved it. Sunday lunch was a delight in really special surroundings with attentive but discreet staff.
Good to see the old place open again. And meet up with friends. Not staying overnight.
Sunday Roast We booked a table at the venue a few days ago for a Sunday lunch. Warm welcome on entry and shown to our table by a lovely member of staff. Drinks ordered and they came quickly. Very helpful with my dietary requirements.. The food was very good and the staff were really friendly and v
Fantastic good value meals and drinks. Ideal location. We've eaten a couple of times at the Whyte Harte Hotel and every time have had a wonderful meal. Edit: 29/07/2021: TWH have benches out front now, which is wonderful. Had a lovely meal and drinks. Service was excellent
Lovely place with ancient charms nicely updated. Rooms are cheap and cheerful- no pretense but showers are new. Everyhting is kept very clean. Rates are more than reasonable and breakfast included is excellent. Staff are very helpful and nice, owner is also very nice. Pub is great but does close ear
I visited the Whyte Harte with 3 of my friends. I had been referred there by a friend a while ago, yet had not had the opportunity to go until last week. There is a large bar area and a separate restaurant area. The place has a real homely feel to it, with candles everywhere and lots of fresh flowe
Close to Gatwick airport. Pub with hotel, car park at rear and on street parking. Dog friendly. Friendly, efficient staff. The evening meal and breakfast were very good and a reasonable price. Our room was on the small size but fine for one night with the dog. The decor was "tired" but everything wa
Second visit, usually return is not the same however could not fault it...excellent ,meal worth every penny. Friendly staff behind the bar and restaurant. BEST steak i have ever had. Menu has lots of variety. They have a lovely beer garden for the summer and a great huge fire for the winter. They al
Second time we have stayed here. . Its a place with a lot of character. Not a wall or ceiling is straight. . The room furniture is or was shabby chic. Sadly now its a bit shabby. Could do with a bit of TLC. Staff are great and the breakfast, second to none. My favourite beer was off London Pride but
Excellent restaurant that delivers what many gastro-pubs promise but few deliver. Really interesting menu with obviously high quality ingredients and cooked to an amazing standard. Staff and owners are very friendly and helpful. Only fly in the ointment is the new recipe for their chips which has se
We stayed in one of the rooms here recently to attend a friend's wedding nearby, and we really enjoyed our stay at The Whyte Harte! Very friendly landlord who was extremely accommodating and went out of his way to make sure we were looked after. The pub's got a great deal of history to it too. The b
Great price, historic inn, rooms are small but comfortable and clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The only downside was we had to be at Gatwick at 9:00am and breakfast started at 8:30, but they did make us a sandwich.
This delightful gastro pub is warm and inviting. We have had the pleasure of dining there a few times and the food has always been top class. The King Prawn starter my partner has was excellent and my Salt and Pepper Squid quite melt in the mouth. For the mains we had steak done to perfection and Se
Nice friendly staff, good welcome, nice warm pub atmosphere with good range of drinks and tasty food. Only needs a refresh in room decoration otherwise room, warm and clean. A dog friendly establishment which is a bonus.
Really friendly staff. Great location. Good beer. The breakfast was awesome. Bed was on the hard side of uncomfortable unfortunately. Can't knock anything else about the hotel or the pub.
Absolutely gorgeous food, and so so much variety for vegans! We had a lovely meal. Happy, helpful staff too x
My sister and I stayed here during our 10 day, whirlwind tour of the UK, what a lovely place!!! The room was great and the pub is very quaint! The service was excellent and thanks for waiting up for us as we arrived later than planned!! Highly recommend the Whyte Harte!!
The room I was in was a double room and my sister was in the double Dulux room. There is definitely a different here, both beds seem as comfortable, but, the big difference is the bathroom and how spacious the rooms are. With the wifi my room it keeps coming and going and with my sister room it see
