The Red Lion - Bletchingley - Photo album

Hands down the best pub in the local area. Food is excellent, staff are always really nice. Plus, the pub is now dog-friendly and has been for a few years. Dogs can’t go in the pub itself, however the undercover seating area is lovely (as pictured here) and comfortable, so we were quite happy being
Had a wonderful lunch at The Red Lion on the way down to Bognor from Colchester. Service was super friendly, prompt and professional. Beer was good and the Streak & Kidney pudding hit the spot. Thank you !
After a long uphill walk any Pub in the Storm !! But this one was a Cracker. Lovely welcome and soon pints of Green King IPA (£4.50) and Speckled Hen were drawn from the well kept cellar Lots folk around we're taking luncheon from a different and interesting menu. Next time the range of Omelettes
Only popped in for a drink but what a lovely welcome. Sorry did not get the name of the young lady who served us, quite petite with red hair. Lovely manner. Very knowledgeable nothing was too much trouble answering our questions. Looked a very nice place and the food looked amazing too. We will defi
Had lovely lunch with my wife at 1.45 the pub only had a few customers. Had a 3 course meal with huge portions and a couple of drinks. Excellent quality food and fast and friendly service. Will certainly revisit Peter Atkinson
As fairly new Bletchingley residents we thought we’d try the local for dinner. It was Tuesday night Curry Club, and the Jalfrezi was delicious. My wife had scampi and chips, which she says was also lovely. The pub was quiet being a Tuesday, but none the worse for that, and the staff were very welcom
We enjoyed a lovely lunch here on a Monday bank holiday. Staff were super friendly and efficient. The menu had some usual fare but also some rather more unusual meals such as a venison pie. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole meal, and the kids (8 & 6) enjoyed their burgers which were of a generous siz
The ale was excellent. Had no time to eat but would like to try their pie, mash and liquor. Toilet very clean. Altogether a great experience. Will visit again. Tommy.
Enjoyed a really nice lunch here today with my wife. 😊👌 The food we had was super tasty & worth every penny. Our server was Daria, she provided excellent service which we were thankful for. Will definitely be returning again soon.
Popular and very good pub and restaurant. They have done good food for many years and continue to do so. Pleasant and helpful staff. I had fish fingers in baguette with gherkins, homemade tartar sauce and crisps. A very good lunch.
The attention to every detail by the management & staff makes this pleasant and welcoming pub...an excellent venue. The Menue is varied and food very good, making our lunchtime visit a real pleasure. We will certainly return.
Just stopped off for a quick meal and drink during a cycle. Food was great, staff were friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend. Hope to visit in the future.
Varied menu ,reasonable priced, tasty, and well presented . friendly, helpful waitress. The glass table tops could have done with a clean, and the outside could do with a good sweep ,looked very scruffy .
Visited here on a Thursday lunch time, nice to see it was busy! This pub has a small car park with very tight spaces. I noticed that there were no vegan options on their lunch menu, so mentioned it to a member of staff and she very kindly asked in the kitchen and they made me a vegan sausage sandwi
