That was the second time I have been there for a meal first time my son and daughterinlaw took me for Sunday lunch this time it was my grandsons 18th birthday I would highly recommend this restaurant the food is exceptional very well cooked and the portions huge the staff are great nothing is any trouble and they always have a smile it was a very hot day but the restaurant was fully air conditioned which made it very comfortable so if you have a special occasion I would highly recommend it ššš¾
This place is a must visit, gorgeous decor, amazing food, and reasonably priced, always a pleasure to eat here and Iām never disappointed with the food, desserts are to die for ā¤ļø
Enjoyed a lovely 3 Course meal today with friends. A lovely, busy place with excellent food. Very friendly and efficient staff. Nothing too much trouble for them. Would highly recommend.

Had a fabulous night organised by my family for my 60th. Staff were excellent always checking we were happy with everything. DJ great. Food, room & cleanlines excellent. I would highly recommend the function suite.
My husband and I went in on Saturday afternoon we hadn't booked, got a table quite quickly, staff very attentive food was great, we go in a lot also our family visit regularly never had any complaints about Carrigan's, staff are brilliant.
wont find a better bar resturant in scotland as my first time there since it opened was very suprised with the layout staff and price of drink great will be back

Everybody knows Carriganās and for a good reason. The steak pie is legendary and thereās plenty of it per portion.
The service is fast and all-in-all itās a top choice.
Great food, great service, average prices.
Love the blaggis starter, haggis and black pudding in some sort of sauce.
Caledonian chicken with yer side of mash and veg. Tbh the chicken was quite tough and overcooked.
Manbearpig got muscles to start and pizza and pasta combo for her main. She seemed to enjoy it.
Very accommodating for disabled guests and the toilets are spotless too.
Ā£50 for 2 folk, starter and main and we were stuffed.

First time visiting since they had the refurb(a while ago now) and what a treat it was. Place is looking great. Atmosphere is welcoming. The staff are charming and so polite as if nothing is too much hassle!
Pricing is a little more expensive than we thought, but you definitely pay for quality here, but the food was worth it.
The dishes were delicious and served quite nicely. We enjoyed our meals from start to finish and will certainly be back, along with taking the wee man.
Starters - Louisiana chicken (with hot sauce and mint) and a little garlic bread
Shetland mussels - absolutely huge with a warm roll with butter, partner enjoyed them.
Mains - minted lamb shank with veg with colcorean mash
Combo meal pepperoni pizza and Mac n cheese
Dessert - caramel apple pie with custard (though I nicked other halfās ice cream and they got my custard so it worked out) it was so light and went down a treat.
Galaxy fudge cake with custard. Honestly it was wolfed down.
Couple of drinks, with coffee and tea.
Overall it was great and we will be back, the place, food and service were brilliant

First time being here and certainly won't be the last. The staff where brilliant.the portion sizes where really big. I had the steak pie and cannot fault anything on the plate. We fed 2 adults and 2 children for Ā£40 (including drinks). can't wait to go back

Very busy but they very kindly managed to find us a table as we hadn't booked. Great service and food delicious. Steak ciabatta with onions, salad, coleslaw and mayo was delicious. My friend had a huge portion of steak pie which she said was the best she had tasted.
Service midweek around 8pm was fantastic. Staff friendly, talkative and helpful! I love the fact they do a Sunday roast every day of the week. This time it was gammon. It never fails to impress!
Great selection of food, good prices, service quick and friendly. Portion sizes huge. I tend to go for the smaller portion size as more than enough. Bar prices amazing.
