What a hidden gem of a place, always liked Badger beers but had the chance to do a brewery tour for my 40th Birthday and had a great time. The tour guide Carl was brilliant, learnt all about the brewery and the history of the brewery and then entered the wonderful industrial area where all the magic
Superb brewery tour with Trevor. He knows his stuff. Good humoured tour too. This is a bucket list ticked off. Nice bar with food also and the brewery shop has heaps of stock. Highly recommended 👌.
Hall and Woodhouse brew tour is very much value for money. Great tour, guides very knowledgeable. Great from start to finish. Lots of fun trying different beers.
A wonderful Resturant and shop. The food was delicious and served promptly.
The staff were very helpful and helped me select some souvenirs to take home. I was able to sample some of the beer on offer before purchasing a selection from the shop. I'll be back for the tour next time!
This is the first time we have eaten at a brewery and we weren’t disappointed. The welcome from the staff and I assume the lady in charge was lovely and made you feel right at home, through our entire visit you could hear her talking to the staff and public in the same way, very bubbly and a genuine
We only went to the off licence section but the staff were excellent.
We have been on the brewery tour and eaten in the bar previously and both have never let us down. Would recommend if you are in the area
The brewery tour is typical of brewers of this size, with a considerable history of brewing which is hard to condense - there's so much of the last 200+ years! The tour takes you into the current brewery where there are some pretty sizeable vessels lined up, and you may well get to taste some of the
What a gorgeous place. The restaurant is wonderful, with well presented, delicious food. There is also a lovely little shop selling H&W products at reasonable prices. The staff are all really friendly.
Overall it is well worth visiting. ..and next time I might take the brewery tour!
Three years on a
I went on a Brewery Tour here and really enjoyed it. It was very comprehensive and took well over two hours . Apart from looking around the whole brewery and the brewing process, it also involved a trip onto the top of one building allowing some lovely views across Blandford Forum and also the Old B
The home of Badger Beer. Friendly staff, a great venue and wonderful craft ales. There is an area upstairs showcasing the history of this historic brewery, the downstairs area is spacious and comfortable. Tours are available and takeaways can be purchased directly from the brewery shop.
The Hall and Woodhouse Brewery offer a fantastic dining experience for its visitors. We stopped in on a sunny afternoon. Couldn't wait to visit, though sadly the tours are cancelled during lockdown. The restaurant is still open I believe. The friendly staff let us into the shop which has all the classic Badger beers plus some beers only available there. Well I had to try them! Worth a visit if you're in Dorset
We did the tour. Wasn't too sure what to expect, but it was amazing the guide we had knew his stuff despite being new to the job. He kept the tour interesting and entertaining.

Thanks Carl for a great tour of this famous brewery. We loved it and the fact it was working made it even better. Next time we will be back for the full experience. Would highly recommend this tour.
We were on a wee trip to Shaftsbury, and the Badger Brewery was on the way, so dropped in for a few beers and a look around. Great variety of beverages. We looked about and picked 10, they have good deals. Unknown to is if you purchase 10 you get 20% off total. So 10 beers for just under £19 squids.
Excellent brewery tour, easily the best one we have done. Karl and Winona were really knowledgeable, friendly and made it great fun. The beer was wonderful and seeing how it was made was really interesting. Would definitely recommend it
Very good service and top beers..a mix of taste to suit all people, low alcohol beers to strong and a good price and in bottles.

Great tour, guide very informative and charming, kept it light. Brewery well maintained had a nice feel to it. All staff very friendly. Well worth it, nice pint at the end, food looked good. Nice setting for a bite.
Great place to stop for a beer, four cask ales and one on keg. Staff are really friendly and provided activity packs for the kids - totally unexpected. Kept them quiet while I enjoyed a Fursty Ferret.
