Just had a really great meal, good local sourced food well cooked & presented & lovely staff who looked after us & even had the local shanty group in for a couple of songs! I highly recommend this pub!!!
What a lovely comfortable place family booked Christmas Lunch here it was outstanding, big portions, delicious food and very polite staff… what more can you ask for it’s an Adnams brewery run hotel restaurant/ pub which I and my family can highly recommend check out the lunchtime and any day menu to be wowed !! Also check out the lamp stands in the windows in the bar area … very clever!!
Stayed in Room 1 and had dinner in the bar/restaurant area on 20th July for our Anniversary. The room was lovely with a stunning view of the coast and diner was delicious. A really nice place to stay and we will be back.
We arrived a little early to pick the keys up from our holiday cottage in Blakeney, so we decided to take our little dog Rowan for a drink at the White Horse whilst we waited to pick up our keys on a very cold afternoon/evening. Our dog Rowan couldn't have been made more welcome by the lovely staff at the White Horse. We also had a wonderful meal, sea bass - a really special evening, would highly recommend
We had two trips to the White Horse for our New Years weekend stay in Blakeney. Once for evening meal on Friday night and once for New Years Day lunch , both were great .... we had 4 children with 4 adults and the kids roasts were very generous and all adult courses were spot on. The service was quick and staff were excellent, and although we had to vacate the table for a second sitting, we were moved to another area to finish our drinks ... and the staff made it all very easy. All of our meals were excellent with the Fish pie being a highlight for me. The atmosphere is relaxed and the old coach house area is a lovely alternative to the bar area. I felt you could dress as smart or as casual as you liked and would fit in comfortably. The family we were with had a small dog who was made welcome with water bowls around the place. Can't wait to go back ... thanks.
Great Service, very friendly. Lovely food both breakfast and restaurant.
Definitely recommend even if just going to restaurant to eat.
This has to be one of the best places we've stayed at in a very long time! Bought my parents for 2 nights and we loved it! Beautiful decor with lots of attention to detail. Fabulous location, lovely lovely rooms and superb food! Fantastic friendly staff who could not do enough for you, big thank you to Toby and Becky who really made our stay very special! Can't wait to come back, thanks guys xx
Fantastic room, breakfast superb, staff very friendly great place
Clean, cosy room (No 7). Great service, very good breakfast, fantastic location within metres of the Quay
Great hotel and pub with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Can't wait to get back to Blakeney and The White Horse.
A lovely meal in the Conservatory. Beautiful space for dinner, superb food and probably as near to perfect service as you can get. Not our first time and, hopefully, not our last.
Decided to eat here after an underwhelming dinner experience at our hotel the night before, very happy we did.
In all honesty it's a quite limited menu, but everything we had, from the starters, mains, right the way through to the drinks and desserts, I couldn't pick one fault. Everything was absolutely delicious, Generous portion sizes at a fair price.
Very friendly and competent staff.
There is a 10% service charge automatically added to the bill, which in all fairness I would of preferred to add at my discretion!
Parking is only for hotel guests which could cause an issue but was only a few minutes walk for us so wasnt a problem.
Overall would definitely recommend 👍👍👍
We had a lovely meal tonight. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, even with our golden retriever in tow!
Service and food was fabulous and very reasonably priced.
Will definitely come back when we're visiting this part of the country again.
Stopped here for an impromptu and it was really good. Great range of Adnams beers on draught and a good lunch menu with lots of clearly marked gluten-free options. The duty manager who greeted us and served us was really nice and good with our kids; didn’t get his name but he said he moved there two years ago so if the owners are reading this I hope you know who this is!
Food was absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend coming here on a Sunday afternoon/evening. Very clean and spacious.
Had dinner at the White Horse. Bright cheerful Gastropub. Food was very good. The pork Cassoulet was delicious. My wife was disappointed with the portion size of the sea bass. The Manager was gracious and admitted that it was the last portion and discounted the price by half. Nevertheless is was a good experience
I have reviewed this place before but just on food, however this time in Blakeney we opted to book a room for 2 nights.
Car parking was reserved for guests so all good there.
Located in the heart of Blakeney you can't really go wrong.
Now I don't know if there is a second access or not for less abled guess but the stairs could present a problem for some. I found them quirky.
Our room was "the fisherman's bend" and it was really nice. Spacious, well equipped, plenty of electrical points for all your accessories, view over the courtyard garden.
Bed was very comfortable, as we're the seats in the room.
The ensuite had a spacious shower and the toilet was tucked away for a bit of privacy. All towels, soaps and shampoos provided as you would expect.
On the first morning we opted for a traditional English breakfast and it was superb,so I decided to have it the following morning as well...... oops, a different chef was on and the food wasn't hot, cooked as well as had been previously and served up on a cold plate. The quantity was also different.
If it hadn't been for this, would have been 5 all round but hey ho.
Always worth checking the Tele out as so many people forget to log out of their accounts.
Obviously it's a Adams hotel, so plenty of choice on there drinks.
Lovely night away.Great setting. Room was are quirky and stylish. Breakfast amazing. Staff very friendly but not too intrusive. Planning further visits.
We stumbled across this place on a dreary day in December after the first two places where we planned to meet up with a friend who was visiting were closed! So glad we did though. Really good lunchtime service and the food was lovely. Very clean facilities. Food servings were generous and served in a prompt but by no means rushed manner.
We had the fish and chips which are naturally gluten free & they were delicious! Lovely staff and beautiful building too
Cosy and comfortable rooms, friendly staff, great breakfast and nice location. Excellent Adnams beer, spirits and wines of course too!
This is somewhere we have always wanted to eat at. Staff very friendly and helpful but due to staff shortages they couldn't seat us when we wanted and there was not a full menu. The menu is standard pub food best enjoyed at lunchtime I feel. Prices ok. Would go again but in a year or two.
Excellent food served with a smile. Lovely pub and an astounding setting
Such a lovely helpful bar man, very knowledgeable, he even booked us on a seal trip. 🌟
We have just spent a lovely 3 night stay at The White Horse Blakeney. It is a wonderful small inn in a great location. The stay included a nice breakfast offering continental, full breakfasts or made to order. We ate at the pub 3 evenings as after days exploring the surrounding areas we wanted to stay in. The menu is varied and was quite tasty. The rooms are small but very clean and adequate and quiet to sleep. The service was exceptional, many thanks for a wonderful stay!
Early January visit. Servers kept customers served quickly and efficiently. A relief after the busy Christmas /New Year period.
The catch of the day - cod and chips was outstanding. A large thick fillet of cod in light beer batter, great chips and a nice sides of peas and mayo/spring onion?
Stayed three nights. Very good food, excellent dog friendly room with sitting room on ground floor. A real gem really with public access to half an acre of public park and benches. Genuinely friendly and helpful and attentive staff and clearly very well run throughout! Faultless breakfast, ample parking. Very Good!
