Visited with friends who live locally, as they recommended a visit, so our party of 6 booked a table. Friendly welcome from staff, seated in the luvly restaurant with beautiful views of golf course, drinks order taken by a luvly young lady, and prepared by a luvly barmaid. Viewed the menu good variety of dishes on offer. We ordered Cullen skink, Stornoway blackpudding Bon bons, prawn cocktail, brusscheta (shared) and a salmon dish, mains were fish and chips, leg of lamb, steak pie, vegetable lasagne, macaroni cheese, all food was freshly made and delicious. We enjoyed their house wine and soft drinks. The restaurant is very spacious and welcoming, has a luvly atmosphere, we spoke to Donna (owner) who knew our friends, she is luvly too, friendly and interested in our feedback, would recommend a visit, will be back. :) :)

Beautiful big round room with stunning views over the golf course and a huge wood burning stove to keep it cosy. Lovely home made style menu and great baking. Coffee refills keep you sitting all day enjoying the friendly atmosphere. Perfect on a snowy day in February.

Had high tea here yesterday as a birthday treat for my mum, and we all absolutely loved it. The main courses we had were delicious (macaroni, steak pie, and fish & chips). The cakes and scones were just amazing (I greedily tried the chocolate cake on the counter in addition - also amazing). Staff were all so friendly and welcoming. Views were lovely too. Would definitely recommend, and can assure you I'll be back for more of that chocolate cake!

Had a delightful lunch at Pitcrocknie today - Beautifully appointed and furnished restaurant with a welcoming wood burner - lovely panoramic views from every table over the Golf course and countryside. The staff were very kind and attentive and the food was exceptional- so tasty and beautifully presented ...The best Eggs Benedict ever ! Good coffee and the cakes and home baking looked delicious - Will sample these next time ! The place is spotlessly clean and all regulations carefully observed - very reassuring on our first restaurant visit for over a year !

Had lunch at this restaurant and coffee shop. Absolutely outstanding service from Corinne. Food was delicious and would recommend to anyone who is in the area. Dog friendly and although we sat outside…. Beautiful day… dogs were given a warm welcome inside too. This is a definite place to return 💕

I have used this brilliant place as my café stop when cycling on a number of occasions. On my last visit (Sat the 22nd Jan), I had THE BEST Coffee and Walnut cake iv ever had. And Iv had a lot of cake in my life. We went for NYE lunch and the food was brilliant, reasonably priced and prompt. The coffee is free refills, the staff very friendly and attentive, they are dog friendly and the environment relaxing and warm.
