We ate at the Seymour last week. The new menu is fantastic (the lemon sole was amazing) and has good variety.

We’ve lived in the village for just under a decade and seem a couple of changes in management over that time. Had Sunday lunch yesterday; first meal under the new management. Hands down the best food we’ve had there. Would highly recommend.
I visited the Seymour arms the other day and was greeted by amazing customer service by the brilliant staff who were so friendly and were eager to help me with any issues I had the food was also incredible and I think fairly priced for the amount you get all of the staff were amazing such as James

Great experience, James, casey are great company at the bar. It's a quiet village but absolutely brilliant night to stay near cheddar gorge. Coming back again very soon

Really comfortable place to stay for a short break. Everyone we met was friendly & helpful. If you’re visiting the Mendip Hills, or Fernhill Farm this is a good location.

The staff were amazing and very friendly . The food was divine and arrived with great presentation . The choice of ales, cider, wines and spirits were brilliant.
Both managers ( both called James) were lovely and clearly had hand picked brilliant staff as well.
