As other reviewers have said it is a local pub but not unfriendly to tourists. Made a 4 legged friend there when I went. Will be staying nearby next year so will pop in again.
Called in to meet Jiff or Jules as he's known. Great little pub, watch England lose to Spain, good pint and handed over a gift to the local junior football side, great day
Very nice little pub. Locals are welcoming and friendly. went to buy a bottle of water as everything around was closed at 11.00 pm but glad i stooped here as i came out of pub with smiles … :)
Very nice little local pub, the locals are very friendly and the beer is very reasonably priced, very dog friendly too, it is a little run down but has a lovely log burner and lots of local banter
I was wondering is the Manod a guest house 🏠. As when I lived in Blaenau the Manod and Merion ran by Maggie Jane my dad's cousin was my dad's local. I left Bkaenau at 16 jound the Army I now live in Canada my brother still lives in Blaenau

Pub of choice for our week long getaway. Owner and Bar Manager were both really good craic, and full of suggestions and recommendations for both drinks and the local area.
Lovely clean pub, friendly landlord and nice tidy clean toilets. Not too much beer on tap but what was there was good and cold, perfect end to a good hard walk.
Dave, Fred and I are staying for a week just a stone's throw away.

Better selection of drinks compared to other local pubs. Nice clean interior with lots of comfortable seating. The staff were really lovely and the prices were great.
Extremely friendly and helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble. We and our pets felt very welcome :D

Just returned from a few nights in Blaenau Ffestiniog. We had a lovely welcome from the landlady and regulars in there. Very friendly and helpful in regards to the local area. The children enjoyed the free sweets! Would definitely recommend the Manod Hotel
We were on a 3 peaks challenge and stayed in the town for the night. Having gone to another pub in the area we were recommended by a regular to try this place, and boy, we were so glad we did.
