We had the most amazing food here! Great prices and such a lovely themed restaurant. Dinners were huge, perfect after a long walk!
Me and my partner enjoyed dining here a few times during our visit. The meals have generous portions and are very satisfying after days exploring Snowdon. There is a good selection of wines and also the barmaid made a lovely pink gin and tonic with frozen strawberries! Would definitely recommend. My only criticism would be that vegetarian options are lacking.
I ordered the ribs here, they were excellent. They were so tender that when I offered a rib to a friend to try, the bone fell away.
The corn was well done, if a little bland - some butter and salt would have been perfect.
The potato wedges were surprisingly good, the thinner wedges were very crispy and accompanied the meal very well.
Went here after our climb up Snowdon!

We love this restaurant its a converted bank with beautiful food and surroundings. It has a slate shop at the back of the building.

I had the Quarryman recommended to me by a local guesthouse. I got told it would be best if I booked, as they can get busy, so walked in just as they opened. Good job I did! I was greeted by very friendly staff, and the earliest table they had for me was 8pm. I went for a walk while waiting and a bit of an explore to build my appetite. I’m glad I waited, and didn’t decide to eat somewhere else. I had grilled halloumi cheese to start, and ordered the mixed grill for main. The halloumi was nice, and a decent size portion. The mixed grill when it arrived - well, it was huge! I couldn’t finish it all. The steak was cooked to perfection, just melted in the mouth. All the meats were tender, the whole meal was delicious. You don’t often get quantity together with quality that I experienced tonight at such a fair price. Excellent service, superb food and great friendly smiling staff. I’d defiantly recommend this place, but do book to make sure you get a table! Thank you!

Wow what fabulous food ! Very Impressed ! Beautifully presented, delicious meals for four friends. Good service in friendly comfortable atmosphere.We had mixed grill, Gammon, Porter steak and Rib eye plus all the trimmings! Plentiful portions! Excellent value! Thankyou , will definitely be eating here again.

Fantastic food and great value for money. Interior stunning, good beer (had the John Smiths) and wine (merlot). Came back tonight for second dinner in two days, the place is an absolute gem in a town that does not offer a lot of dining options in the evening. Highly recommend !
Great food, service was spot on and the staff were helpful. It was a bit expensive but you do get a full plate which makes up for the price The wait for food was longer than what your usual wait would be, that's the only downside, but other than that, it's a great place for families and couples and everyone else to have a great dinner.
Accommodated a big group at short notice and the staff were really helpful with dietry and baby requirements. Good food, in good portions, lovely beers too! Less keen on the echoey vault room but fine in the main room.
