We really enjoyed our time at the Bumble Bee. The food was delicious and the staff were lovely. Very good value for money. Will be going back there again.
When we arrived we sat out in the beer garden and we ordered on via the QR code. Amazing Gluten free menu, even desserts which I got to say isn't usually an easy find.
We ordered two burgers (1 GF) Our food took around 10/15 minutes to arrive which was fine, but our drinks didn't arrive until we were half way through our meal, not at all what we wanted. We asked the staff member who brought our food over and she said 'I work in the kitchen' which is completely understandable but she could have at least flagged this up to the bar. It was not at all busy and there was no reason for them to take 30 minutes bringing drinks over.
Other than that food was lovely and will go again with hope that the service is better.
I have never been made to feel so welcome in a restaurant in my life!
From the moment we walked in (no reservation) nothing was too much and it really was an amazing experience.
My little one thoroughly enjoyed his Yorkshire pudding & ice cream that a member of staff recommended!
Already looking forward to the next visit!
I am pleased to say that there has been much improvement since the recent renovations. The bar staff are welcoming, friendly and seem genuinely friendly. Nothing seems to much trouble. The meal was good, presented well and tasty. Overall our party of 3 were pleasantly satisfied.
We visited to celebrate our 7th anniversary, the atmosphere was brilliant and all bar staff/waitresses were incredible! Food was delicious and we were made aware as we were sat at our table what wasn’t available (which was only mushrooms). We also stayed for dessert and the apple crumble is insane, it’s delicious and so big that i had to take the majority of it home! overall it was a great experience. Thank you!
we ordered 2 sirloin steaks unfortunately they were not good quality lot of sinew so not able to eat it..but!! the response from the manager and staff was Very Good,,very apologetic, i don`t blame them..It was no trouble at all i`m happy to say they gave us a refund on the meals,so for that reason i would recommend bumble bee as this could have been a one off! we would go again But probably wont have steak i would have given 5 if the steak was premium quality
Had a good afternoon at the Bee, good service friendly polite staff and good quality food. Good portion size and served as I request my food cooked, bit of a wait for food but was well worth the wait. Will definitely be going back again and more regularly,
Delicious food and very nice atmosphere and very good service definitely be going again.and sorry for the small portion off food their was a lot more on their than that.I couldn't resist not taking a picture of something i released half way through I need to let the locals new how nice it was and also the staff.
Had a lovely meal 👍 Met a friend because of convenient location & had a 30% offer. In the past have had some bad meals with small portions. However this time very friendly staff, lovely pub and good pub grub!
We had a real nice time. The restaurant has been refurbished very nicely. The style of the place is amazing. The staff was polite and very friendly and. We didn't wait long for our meals. The food was very nic. Could not fault the visit and would definitely recommend. We will be going back. Thank you
The atmosphere, staff, food, and beer were excellent. Value for money because of a discount promotion, bring back 2 for 1, honestly can’t find any fault to our experience. Well done keep up the good work, we will be back
What a difference a makeover makes! On the first day opening after a refurb and Team The Bumble Bee did not disappoint!
Atmosphere was brilliant; vibrant yet relaxed.
Food was presetned beautifully and would definitely recommend the cauli cheese to compliment your roast dinner. Great work from the kitchen team.
Staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive. Fantastic service from Libby and Owain on the bar.
The hard work by Dave and his team is really showing - The Bumble Bee is in a much better place now! Well done Dave!
Food was lovely as per! We went on a Thursday evening and they was holding a quiz night so it was very full but that didn't change anything, food came out within great time and we had a fantastic evening! Would definitely recommend and as always we will come again as we love it there!
Well must say I haven't been to the Bumble Bee for some time. Lovely atmosphere, the Manager, sorry didn't get your name was so friendly and helpful nothing was a problem 😀 We had the Fish and I asked for mash instead of chips. Wasn't disappointed the fish was cooked beautiful. Will definitely be back. And the voucher was really appreciated thank you.
Food was lovely, however I tried scanning the QR Code on my phone, but it would not operate. My daughter got it on her phone but the starter was not available online so we resorted to the old fashioned way of ordering at the bar.
More staff are required as there was always a queue at the bar and the food service was slow in comig. However, the staff were pleasant and attentive, if not a little stressed.
Clean and tidy. good food great value. S5aff very pleasant. If there is a criticism they could do with more staff to get you to a table, improve the speed food and when paying your bill.
