A very busy establishment with excellent food and service to match.
Stuart the General manager was extremely welcoming as was his team were excellent as well. A prime example of attitude reflects leadership. Also Stuart let us know about alternative options.
The portion size is phenomenal and the food tastes great. I got the chip shop platter.
Highly recommend.

I visited here before and the food was unreal but the service was very poor. The new general manager was out of this world, he went above a beyond and you can definitely see a change for the better. The food was amazing and the service 5 star, cant really ask for much better.
I was here for dinner with my family on our holiday, we had an amazing experience. The food was spectacular and the atmosphere was great and the staff were fantastic cheery and served with a smile. The only thing wrong was they ran out of tartar sauce 5 star
Fabulous fish and chip dinner at Papa’s tonight! Excellent customer service from the one and only Pablo! A genuine guy who clearly loves his job! Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend going to this beautiful little restaurant! 🍽️🗼🎢🎡
Hands down best fish and chips in Blackpool! Fish is so fresh and the batter is to die for! Portions are huge, believe it or not this was the medium fish. They do a large and a ‘papa size’ one too.
Calamari is beautiful, and is thick slices rather than the usual rings.
Yes it is a bit more pricey than other fish and chip shop (£11.99 for medium fish and chips) but you can get it to take away for around the same price of other takeaway fish shops.
You get shown to your table then have to order the food at a central bar yourself. There was one guy, taking orders and pouring drinks, took me about 25 minutes to order.
The only cutlery that's was available looked used , had to ask for some clean .
The food arrived about 15 minutes after the order and it was really nice, medium haddock was ample
Overall it was a nice meal but the ordering process was poor on the day , it didn't even appear that busy, there were many spare tables.
Absolutely outstanding evening spent at papa’s. Visiting Blackpool for the weekend. Ate in many establishments but this one by far exceeded all expectations. The food was of high quality and portion size was spot on. The welcome and service we received was brilliant. Our waiter was a lad called Harley he is the reason- along side the quality of the food- we would return here time and time again. Brilliant energy, enthusiasm and attentiveness.

We ordered big papas! The portions were generous, enough for 2 people and everything was served piping hot. Expect to wait longer if visiting on weekends . I would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for a delicious meal.
Great fish and chips here today. Tasty food and top service from becky and carolann who were brilliant with our baby daughter, who was very happy to come away with a papas teddy! Will definitely be back.

What a great fish and chip shop, the standard of food is excellent, generous portions and such a great taste! Some of the best if not the best fish and chips in Blackpool! Eating here makes you want more. The staff are friendly and helpful! Great place right by Blackpool tower!
Really really great place to enjoy your traditional fish and chips at the beach. Atmosphere was calm and welcoming and our waiter Paulo was exceptional and key to the great experience.
We went large on our food as we find portion sizes are getting smaller but this clearly wasn't the case here even the small portion was huge.
This is the best fish n chip I have in UK so far! It's worth to drive for hours to come over

Lovely place. Harley really looked after us and the kids. He made sure we had everything we needed and felt comfortable to give him a shout if we wanted anything. Kids loved him for getting their ice creams. Thanks Harley :)
