Where do I begin? This place is amazing, and continues to this day as the taste of my formative years, having been going there since the early 1990s. I swear they've not changed in that time.

Laines well what an amazing selection of deliciousness bundled into a shop of joy. I wish I could eat the whole shop however being on my third diet of the week decided on a small selection of cherry Bakewell, iced finger, a superb looking lemon meringue cheesecake pork pie and beef pie. Quite a lot
I had my wedding cake made here in 2004 and it's amazing that it's still going after all the problems in the world, great cakes , bread and staff, there's always a queue out the door it's that good. Very friendly staff and reasonably priced.

Traditional baked products, perfectly executed and at a great price with good service. The steak, meat and potato pies and the gooey pork and beef pies are perfect savouries. Omg the cakes and bread from here are amazing I've been using this bakery since 1982. Please try you won't be disapointed, you have to get there early as everything goes quickly.

Being going in there since 1980 when the steak pies were 72pence they are still as good today as they were then.
Went for the first time today. Pies and cakes were lovely! I am vegaterian and was having the soup as the cheese and onion pies were sold out. The bread rolls were all gone too but the lady serving me gave me one of the rolls she was taking home for herself! So kind of you, thank you so much ❤️
