I attended Blackpool Victoria Hospital outpatients fracture clinic yesterday with my wife. We were seen within ten minutes of arrival for all of the various areas of treatment , and all of the hospital staff who dealt with my wife, were excellent. Friendly, caring and professional. We was so impressed.

My father spent 4.5 days here this week in A&E and the Acute Stroke Unit. Despite being phenomenally busy, every single member of staff and volunteer we encountered was courteous, calm and caring. All aspects of care including complex scans, nursing, catering etc were provided with compassion. This level of treatment, in a very over-stretched setting, was greatly appreciated!

My father , who is 82 years old and living with advanced alzhiemer's disease, was taken to A & E after a fall. The treatment and care he received was amazing. ALL the staff were understanding, professional and most importantly caring. It made a difficult day so much easier for our family. Thank you

My father was taken in having lost a lot of blood, after having a transfusion he was put on ward 18, I cannot thank the staff on this ward enough for the love and care they showed my father, each member of staff went above and beyond, ensuring my dad was as comfortable as possible. He was 92 whilst on the ward and the staff organised a cake, a signed card balloons and sang happy birthday to him . I do not know all the names and wish I did, but to Stephanie, Emily Nicky and Danielle you and the rest of the team were amazing, thankyou so much.

Went to have my blood taken. I thought it was like before, when you just walked in and sat down and waited to be called. Not now though, as it's appointments only due to the pandemic. I can agree with that. As I didn't book a place, I had to wait for just under an hour. I went to get a coffee in Costa, but when I saw the prices I decided against it. It's always more expensive in there. I was called in and my appointment time, which ran smoothly. Staff in pathology are always nice and friendly. Very professional service 5 ☆☆☆☆☆...

My father was blue lighted on Tuesday evening after a fall with breathing issues. 1. Ambulance arrived within 10 mins of call with an exceptional team. 2. We arrived and due to the situation we were straight into ED. Seen by doctors very efficient and looked after by a staff nurse called Geraldine who I have to say was amazing and takes her job to the next level. I can’t tell you how impressed I was. Everyone was amazing so well done ED team on duty. 3. Dad is now on ward 38 and loving life! Everyone is so caring and making an unpleasant situation a lot better. People are so quick to judge the NHS and the team behind it but from this experience and several previous BVH… you rock! If you’d like more information then feel free to OM me Thanks 🙏🏻

I had an appt booked via the bowel screening results last month and the earliest one was at Blackpool which was a car distance away. I found parking at the multi-storey easy and convenient.£3 I easily located the right department even tho the hospital was undergoing renovations. From the reception to the team at Gastrointology I was treated very well and they put me at ease for the colnoscopy procedure and ready to be collected. I would have no hesitation in having any further treatment done in the future.

This is a lovely hospital very modern and up to date. The main entrance is very impressive. There are plenty of shops and a very nice restaurant. The menu is very good and the quality of the food is exelent. Price wise it is a little expensive but that is only to be expected. Obviously there are exelent facilities and acsses for disabled. There is a large multi story car park on the doorstep, so parking is not an issue. I found the staff there to be very pleasant and helpful, Although I was approached by a fluorescent jacketed job's worth who asked me to stop taking photographs ha ha turned out to be a car park attendant
