Lovely restaurant and lovely service. Top tips for those new to visiting .
1. Download the app before you visit.
2. Once you have sat down, immediately order three items per person and get your order in. It takes about 12 minutes for the robot to then deliver your food.
3. The robot is super cute and can deliver different orders so only take the food from the tray of the robot if it is lit up in blue.
4. Whilst you are waiting for your food have your next order ready. Once the robot has delivered an order, immediately submit your next order so that your food is made whilst your eating. That way you can maximise the experience .
5. Remember the portion sizes are tapas style. They are small but that's great cos it means u can try lots of different things. We managed to try over 60 dishes !
We are very impressed by these new style of having all you can eat Chinese food. We were helped by lovely Jess to use the app to order the food. She is amazing
As for the food; They all come in small portions which is great as you get to try different food items on the menu. Everything is freshly prepared and tasty.
The manager Sam is great with his team to make sure everyone is happy with the food and service.
The settling is well prepared for groups or just couple. Everything is Clean and tidy during our visit. If you are keen on “tapas” style to dine then for sure you would enjoy this new style of having a Chinese buffet banquet in the area. Highly recommend and good value for what we have experienced!!
All you can eat with robot waiter service. Food good , very good service, pleasant staff, clean and tidy. £24.99 per head, trouble is you can certainly eat far too much. Worth a visit though.
We went here the other day and this is the first time we have tried something like this for dinner as in all you can eat sort of restaurant experience. I can say it was really enjoyable.
You would get small portions of most items so it would allow for you to try quite a few different items on the menu.
Ordering is all done through the app and the robot machine called bellabot will come to your table with anything you order the majority of the time.
The food itself is quite nice some items taste just average and it's nothing that will blow you away but there are some real nice items such as the Duck Strips in Hoisin Sauce. Essentially if you have ever had crispy duck pancakes from a Chinese before and you like that, then you'll probably really enjoy this item too.
Visited here for the 1st time over the weekend.
To order, you download the app and order the food to your table. You can keep ordering a few meals at a time (as long as you are going to eat it)
Food is delivered by these awesome cat robots with trays that our children loved! They light up blue and tell you which food you need to take.
There's a decent selection of dishes, both meat and veg. They do explain on arrival that all meals are cooked in the same area so there's cross contamination. We did find a couple of stray meat pieces in our veg noodles.
The only things we didn't like was the food arrived luke warm and the meal was very expensive for what it was.
Our oldest son is 11 and was charged as an adult due to his height £22.99 despite us explaining he isn't a big eater. £22.99 for rice, spring rolls and a bit of cake
First visit to TCB since lockdown began and it was such a great return visit, especially seeing Bella Bot, the new robot waiter. Great to be able to order food from the app rather than going up multiple times to a buffet, Bex uses a wheelchair so this was a massive bonus for us! The rest of the staff (humans!! 😂) were really great, friendly, and knowledgeable and were extremely welcoming. They showed off Bella to us and also made some great menu recommendations. Really clean restaurant, nice relaxed atmosphere, will definitely be back!
Went here on the day of arriving and was quite excited to see the cat robots in action and they did not dissapoint. They are a great idea and really made the place unique.
The service was satisfactory nothing exceptional. They were friendly nevertheless and quite helpful when taking away dirty plates.
Food was also satisfactory nothing amazing but there were definitely some delicious items on the menu.
It being a you can eat means you should probably try and get as much value for money as you can since the place was quite expensive. This is mainly due to having pay for drinks separately which was a little dissapointing.
Overall I would still recommend eating here especially for the robot car experience but don't expect anything out of this world.
Because we had a child with us, it was exciting being served by a robot.
Loved the small portions, it allowed us to try many different dishes.
Food was brilliant and so was the staff even has a robot bringing your food
Really enjoyed the concept of ordering and the robot service which was excellent and cute. The ordering was easy and the food good. You could take your time order your starters first and the order your main dishes when ready. The taster portions are just the right size and you can have as many as you want. Beware though as you don't realise how much you are eating. Staff really nice and helpful also. I would recommend. Meal for two with two drinks each came to £68.00 which was not bad at all.
