We were in here yesterday and we were really impressed with the service, food and general all round good vibe in here. I didn't get anyone's name but our server (HM Forces Veteran) and another gentleman were fantastic. They provided outstanding customer service, even heating my granddaughter's bottle a few times ensuring it didn't get too hot for her. Highly recommend the food as well as in some similar restaurants it can be not very good. In here is the total opposite. Great food, great service and a great atmosphere. Thank you. �
Went to Blackpool at the beginning of August went into the air balloon for food and it was the best ever, staff were brill too nothing too much trouble for them, they brought crayons and colouring paper for my little girl which kept her entertained why her dinner was being cooked, full table service on drinks and food, would highly recommend this place to anyone going to Blackpool absolutely loved it and so did my party I was with ���
We did get told it was half hour wait for food even though it wasn't busy so had a drink whilst waiting for our food 2 mixed grills food was lovely & the lad that served us was very friendly & polite ( tall with dark hair think he had a black eye ) gave us our bottle of wine to take home as we had already ordered drinks when we realised our meals came with a bottle of wine will be going again �
Very nice very hospitable the food was lovely we had breakfast also a evening meal there they could not do enough for you also I would like to praise Bethany for her people skills she was excellent she looked after us really well could not do enough for us and all the staff were excellent in what they did Mr and Mrs Wood
Went today for tea, pit burger was great, slightly higher prices then the old menu but yiu get table service so it's worth the extra cost, great way to create more jobs and it's nice to not have to stand at the bar for, 10 minutes everytime you need something, step in the right direction thanks to team air �
Highly recommend this place, staff are lovely and nothing is to much trouble.
The quality of the food was fantastic, as were the portion sizes. Location is excellent being right next to the airport and it was really well furnished inside, it felt comfortable and cosy in there. Staff very nice as well and spot on if you are staying in the Premier Inn next door.

Just left here and have to say it was really nice.
Me and my partner have eaten at the cherry tree pub a few miles away which is part of the same chain.
My god the difference was night and day.
We ordered exactly the same food as the cherry tree. At the cherry tree, we ended up with inedible food and rude staff so we ended up just leaving.
The hot air balloon was the polar opposite.
Lovely hot food.
Served very fast ,the staff were very friendly with big smiles.
Three pieces of chicken in the wrap(not two like the cherry tree)
Amazingly they had brown bread (again after four visits to the cherry tree something they ve never had)
We didn't have to ask for anything extra, everything we needed was brought to the table.
At the end we had empty plates .
I think this is the first family pub I ve been where the menus and tables were spotless with no stickiness.
It's attached to a wacky warehouse, so it is great for kids and also has a premier Inn next door and a lidl, so very handy!
It has a great amount of seating.
The loos were clean.
The only thing stopping a 5 star is the decor needs a little touch up, as it's suffering a little wear and tear.
This clearly is no fault of the staff though.
I know I ve compared this to another pub in the same chain and don't want to take anything away from the air balloon or be mean about the cherry tree.
I just think the difference is so massive and they are so close to each other its worth taking a few pointers from the guys that seem to have got it right.
Enjoyed a lovely Sunday Lunch. Good sized portion, plenty of veg and nice little gravy pot. All for c£7.50 when you buy 2 ( there were four of us). Friendly staff too (especially Natasha or Natalie?). Definitely recommend it. 👍
Lovely place, lovely food not too busy. Staff very pleasant and welcoming I ordered a mini mixed grill for £8 or there abouts. Delicious but there was nothing mini about it. 😂🤦🏼♀️ Husband had steak which he doubled up for an extra £6.
Had to wait for my partner who had an appointment. So nipped in for a coffee with a wee brandy in it. Lovely clean pub and was quite busy for the time of day. Food looked good but I didn't eat there. Coffee was tasty but the brandy may have helped 😃. Lady that served me was lovely as well.
Came here today nice big pub good parking little play area on the front my little lad enjoyed. Only drank as slot of food wasn't available drinks are overpriced but will come back and try the food.
We had a fabulous lunch here today at The Air Balloon. Stopped off for lunch expecting to get a burger. Ended up with a delicious rump steak...and kids eat for £1 on Monday! Food was cooked perfectly. All of the family was happy. We will definitely come again when we come to Blackpool.
Excellent food. 10 out of 10. Friendly service. Will definitely go again.
I just want to say I went tonight to the wacky warehouse part and the assistant working there was most helpful, kind and very pleasant.
What a great ambassador for the business definitely coming back x
