Booked to eat here 3 weeks prior to my visit to Blackpool as a treat. I would highly recommend doing this as it gets really busy. What can I say. We were greeted by down to earth ladies where nothing was to much trouble. The service was excellent and the food was to die for. I am fussy over my steaks and they got it spot on. The steak really did melt in your mouth. I had an 8oz fillet and my partner had the surf and turf which on there own where £24 & £30. we added Diane and pepper corn sauces and onion rings with 2 pints of lager which came to a grand total of £72. For me this was excellent value for money. The restaurant is clean and well decorated and has a really nice ambience. I have added pictures but they do not do it justice, the steaks are really juicy and thick and the chips are fantastic. If your in Blackpool treat yourself, you wont be dissapointed.
Very highly recommended!!!
This was our second visit here over two holidays and we wish we could pack you up and take you home to Scotland.
The chicken supreme was one of the best tasting dishes I have ever eaten, my wife had the chicken Kiev which looked amazing and the service was great.
The atmosphere in the restaurant was great too, busy, a little short staffed but the staff (looked like the owners to me) were doing a great job looking after everyone.
Thanks for a great last meal before heading home, capped off a great holiday and left us wanting more. Desserts were lovely too.
The food here was absolutely delicious . The service was superb also.
The only problem we had was the steaks were mixed up in the way they were cooked. We had 1 fillet steak that should have been rare and 1 sirloin that should have been medium rare. The sirloin came rare and the fillet medium. We mentioned this as the plates were cleared and they kindly didn't charge for the drinks for the trouble. The food was still delicious though. We can't wait to go again.
What can I say but best meal we have had !! The staff especially Donna, atmosphere and the food was just brilliant we had the pate starter, tomahawk to share and the girls enjoyed a spaghetti Bol and chicken nuggets followed by ice-cream and sticky toffee pudding .. the cocktails were also on point and a mock tail for the eldest ,nothing was to much trouble for the staff we will be back and recommend you try if your visiting Blackpool 👌
Is all I can say is wow! If your ever in blackpool this is a must! Amazing food the tastiest staek I've ever had ( I eat ALOT of steak), and to top it off big portions at great prices. I'm looking forward to my next visit to Blackpool just to go here again!
The food was great. I had the tomahawk steak and my wife had the fillet. The steaks were flame grilled and cooked to requirements. My daughter loved her kids rump steak which was reasonably priced. It was thunder storming and it started to rain in so we had to move tables and then the electrics went which spoilt the atmosphere somewhat. I'm sure the atmosphere is far better generally. Other than that it was a great meal. Well worth a visit.
Food was amazing, although waited almost 40 minutes for our mains and the table next to us longer both were comped with free drinks and was worth the wait, staff are very friendly
We've lived in Blackpool for twenty years and visited the Eating Inn for the first time ever yesterday. Because I saw good reviews on here.
This is a simple review compared to some I've done.
We had posh fish and chips x 2 and a burger, three of us. It was all perfect, as was the service and everything else.
I had a feeling that other diners were regulars and we will certainly be back.
It's also very good to attend a non chair restaurant but a private independent one. Excellent.

My friends and I were on our holiday and decided to stop in. This was honestly one of the BEST steaks we have had.
Would VERY highly recommend this establishment to anyone as you would not be disappointed.
The service was fast with very happy and brilliant staff.
Thank you for being one of our top moments of our stay in Blackpool.
Have tried this place few months ago on an early afternoon everything perfect only one other table in at the time. So reserved a table for 3 this Sunday arriving to a totally full restaurant but escorted to a reserved table at 6pm. I ordered the exact same meal and guess what it came out 100% as the first time I had ordered the meal the staff are excellent the food is spot on you would never have guessed you where in a restaurant with every table full inside and out the staff did not miss a beat the manager of this place and the team are the best I have been served by on past 2 years so food amazing staff amazing will be back next time in Blackpool. Visit again this week and happy to try the starter this time what a lovely change for Blackpool Prom all the starters are home made and you can tell if you like your food especially stake do your self a treat visit you will not be disappointed my favourite place to eat on the past few years. Visiting several times now and it’s lovely to have such excellent consistency every time.
Better than miller and carter! Steaks and other food lush and top quality. 😋 very reasonably priced, portion size v good, couldn't fault it x
We ordered medium-well steaks, it was OK, but the chef, I think, had them more towards the well-done. The place was busy and that may explain the services delay. In general, it was a nice experience.
We were blown away by the food. I tried some of my son's spaghetti bolognese and that was gorgeous too. Perfect portion sizes. Lovely staff and service and a nice cosy place. Great location right near South Pier. Faultless. We aren't from the area but we will be back whenever we come up!
Lovely restaurant, great food. Really friendly and good atmosphere.
The best steak I've had, medium rare was absolutely perfect. Friends had the ribs and highly recommend thise too. Will be back.
A rare gem. A golden nugget we stumbled on while looking at the stars above while thinking ''all pretty things must have left this place in a hurry''.
Well no, I read some of the positive comments ...
Yesterday, we had the sirloin steak with pepper sauce and a bottle of Rioja tinto, Tempranillo - bodegas Larchago.
The cuisson was 'bleu' just as we asked for. The pepper sauce was quite good.
Served with pommes pont-neuf and some vegetables. It really was nice.
I came back today and had the pan-baked fresh sea bass. It's a surprise to find out they do catch un-battered fish in those mighty seas and oceans.
A glass of white wine - a Pinot grigio, Pirovano from Veneto, Italy - was perfect as accompanying golden liquid. (Fits with the nugget.. 😁)
We'll be back! Next Saturday.
And a special thanks for the great music!

I'm a little disappointed with your automated reaction. I took the time to write this comment. You should take the time to answer it in a personal and nice way.
The food is stunning. Every time we have been we have been met with very attentive staff who are polite and friendly.
The range of food is great. All cooked well and is piping hot when served.
One of the best meals in Blackpool - definitely worth a visit!!
Fantastic fillet steak once again. Never had a bad meal here
We (family of 4) were a bit sceptical walking in off the promenade (sorry Blackpool!) searching for a nice place to eat. But, we weren’t disappointed. I can honestly say that every aspect of our food was exceptional. My son and I shared the 24oz Rib Eye, and it was on par with one of the nicest steaks I/we have ever eaten. Not cheap but worth every penny. Melt in the mouth, succulent, seasoned to perfection, with slow cooked thick wedges and rocket. My wife and daughter ordered the homemade Hummus and kid’s steak, which was delicious. The service was very friendly and efficient. The first thing I thought of when waking up the following day was the steak, which is testament to the experience. Well done and good luck guys
