I recommend the mushrooms in stilton, wine and cream they were absolutely gorgeous and I don't like stilton. Hubby had a T bone which was the first time he had one since the mad cow disease years ago, he enjoyed every mouthful and even tried chewing the bone. Service was fantastic. The restaurant from the outside doesn't do the restaurant justice!!! But definitely worth a visit!!
Situated next door to the weatherspoons velvet coaster, first impressions were not what we thought - as its situated on an upper floor between a pub and a takeaway - We couldn't have been more wrong. They have a 5 star rating for food hygiene for a reason, the place is immacculate, the service was second to none and the two young girls waiting on us were a credit to their parents let alone their employer.
The food was exceptional. We were a table of 12 with 6 being kids & 6 adults. All meals arrived at the same time (bearing in mind there were 5 different steaks all cooked differently) and the T bone steak was awesome. Bearing in mind there were 12 meals, with drinks ( and we can sup!) and the bill was less than half what we spent in pizza express the night before and the food here was far superior.
Definitely gonna visit here next time we are in blackers. Do not go past it, you won't be disappointed!
Great place, great food and fantastic service. Hidden away but look up and then around the ice cream and candy floss booths and find to door. Had a great meal - steak for us and the kids had nuggets off the kids menu.

I love this restaurant, I really like the owner too, I eat here lots , and sometimes get a discount, the perk of being the owners brother in law I suppose.
I wouldn't rate it if I didn't think it was good though, I'd keep making excuses like oh I'm too busy or oh my Internet is down.
The thing is I like food, not just any food, I like good tasty food, that's probably why I like David so much, he's the owner by the way, and my brother in law.
He feeds me great food , so I love eating it, it's a big menu, so I have to go a lot, trouble is he sometimes makes me work behind the bar, you may see me in there if you come, I'll either be eating , or serving drinks from behind the bar.
Did I happen to mention David is a proper chef too ,worked all over the world ,big posh London hotels, 5 star Austrian ski resorts, and the qe2, not wonder I'm so fat.
Anyway that's enough for now, we would love to see you there, it's a little tricky to find the restraurant entrance, so I'll help, it's oposite south pier, next to a very large pub , behind a burger hut, up the stairs to the first floor, if your stood on the prom next to the pier you'll see the sign.
I love the food and I'm sure you will too, ask to have a chat to David when you go, tell him I sent you , he may give you a little extra, don't bank on it though , he's from Yorkshire.

Had a meal there last night. Lovely restaurant and delicious food cooked to perfection. The staff were very attentive and really friendly. It's definitely a must on my next visit to Blackpool.

Went there last night. There was five adults . Place is so clean and superbly decorated. The food was really good my sons said best burgers they have had i loved the steak pot my wife enjoyed the pasta . Service was great and the staff were very friendly. 5 of us ate for Β£37 inc drinks real value for money defo going back to try the 16oz t/bone stake before we go home on friday.
Great surroundings and attentive staff. The steak was cooked to perfection and the home made sauce was delicious. I had the home made pate too which was delicious. As was the homemade crumble οΏ½

Top spot nearly didn't see this was so glad to try a different place that's not a chippy or weatherspoons (I do like both) slightly hidden away but the staff were really friendly drinks food comfy chairs really no complaints here.

Hidden away from crazy, just at the center of Blackpool. Staff- just wonderful! Friendly, helpful, with a sense of humour. Food-Amazing! Everything fresh! Ribs, gammon, chicken- delicious. If you like coleslaw- you must try "curry on coleslaw"! Should be their signature dish. We loved it.
Really good. Hidden next to velvet coaster up some stairs. Reasonable prices and food was nice. Great views of the illuminations and sea if you get sat near the windows. Staff really nice.
Hi this was our second year up in Blackpool where we visited the beachcomber, we didn't book either time but they found room for us no problem.
Service & food where brilliant on both occasions. Prices were very good also. We will look at popping back next year.

We were recommended this place by our lovely hotel staff.
Located next door to the Wetherspoons, it is a little hidden from view behind a food stand and the entrance is closed up in the day.
I came here with my three kids and my friend and her two kids. The food was incredibly nice, there was plenty of it and it came out warm and well presented. My friends son wanted curry which wasn't on the kids menu, so they accommodated by making him a smaller portion. They also went above and beyond by making it less spicy for him by adding cream.
Dessert was just as tasty as the main. My daughter asked for just a bowl of custard and they delivered without a problem.
Couldn't recommend this place enough. Lovely food. Lovely staff and located upstairs, so you see the lights quite well (when they're on!) Though will be difficult for those in wheelchairs or those with mobility issues.
Pleasantly surprised by the price as well. We have tried to go back here since our visit in August, but unfortunately they were fully booked, so I'd say booking is essential.
Just had the best meal I've had in 2 weeks of staying in Blackpool. Poached salmon, new potatoes and salad with parsley butter. Oh my goodness it was delicious.
I can't believe I've walked past this place about 50 times and not realised it was there.
I asked a guy selling rocks where I could get some food that wasn't a chippy or wetherspoons.
Right there he said. Literally 20yards away.

Definitely worth visiting if visting blackpool. Next door to wetherspoons, food was excellent. Kids eat for Β£1 with a paying adult and they had colouring sheets for the kids. Would recommend to pre book as the place was busy.

Had the rump steak and fillet steak. Both were absolutely amazing! Both cooked to order and no tough or inedible parts. Couldn't take a picture because it was too good to waste time not eating. The tables were clean, the place was well presented and the staff were friendly and very polite. Even when due to close, I was offered desert and didn't disappoint even at the end of the night. Really good house white wine and lovely experience.
Random hidden little gem, after a day at pleasure beach we were strolling along the front in search of somewhere to eat and stumbled upon this place.
Staff were so friendly and accommodating for such a large group and the food was amazing and great quality cooked perfectly and for a reasonable price.
If you are at this end of Blackpool definitely stop by and get something you won't regret it π
We where wandering around looking for somewhere that served gluten free food after trying a number of places and having no luck we found this place. We went in and the waiter was very welcoming when we asked if they served gluten free food he was on the ball and told us everything that was gluten free. All of our meals were absolutely beautiful and priced reasonable. The restaurant was very clean and everyone was lovely if i could give more stars i would π We will definitely be visiting again when we are next in blackpool.
