Great service and drinks. Only issue is the baby changing facilities is only on one side so to change the baby you have to go outside and back in through another door which is a bit of an inconvenience, especially if cold and raining. It's also great that it's dog friendly!
Nice pub if you wanna stop off for a drink in the forest. The food was a let down. Burger was burnt (see picture) and some of the food had no flavour.
Another great lunch in the New Forest. Friendly welcome followed by lovely food. Generously filled sandwiches cleverly served in individual boxes. Side order of fries in their own box with salt vinegar and sauce sachets. Will return again as new menus arriving in a couple of weeks.
Very nice pub. Great to be able to sit outside and enjoy the sun. Landlady was very pleasant and made us feel welcome
A much needed pitstop after a long, hot walk. Large garden, great sandwich menu and quick , friendly service. Biggest doorstep sandwiches ever!!
Stopped here on the way back from Lepe beach. Friendly staff. Lovely gardens to sit outside, with a play area for children. Outside tables could do with a bit of a clean. Limited menu, but food was good. Order online from table, which was quick and efficient.
We had a lovely trip here for food and the grandchildren played well in the play park, they loved it. Visiting our family and helping them to move house in whichever way we could. Thank you Catherine and Steve, Mrs O'Brien
Having refurbishment so no food available at the moment
Was here for a wake recently, sad to say, but all went smoothly, lovely staff, amazing grounds, pub lovely and clean, and well kept up, I actually worked on fitting out it out back end 2009. Was impressed with the way it's been kept up. Just shows the pride they have in it. Ample parking to.
Awesome summer day venue. Massive beer garden and play area in the middle for the kids. Multiple bars and speedy food. Food was not in any way amazing but OK in a pinch (and after a couple of beers) Friendly staff and live music sometimes. As a pub, all is good. Oh, I forgot, it had a pool table :)
Nice atmosphere, big garden and Sunday afternoon had live music, bonus. They have a garden menu, a bit limited but fills a whole and is well cooked, nicely presented delivered in a timely fashion. Definitely going back.
A good place to stop and rest. Excellent for families with young children, the staff are good and welcoming. The reason fot 4 star, was that food was unable to be served since their was a large wedding.
I am sure that previous reviews are well out of date.....A last minute decision to eat out having been here before we really did promise ourselves a quick dinner then back for pancakes at home. We were certainly not disappointed with a great choice of exceptionally tasty dishes obviously using the f
Nice pub with good atmosphere. The kids loved the large garden and climbing frame. Friendly prompt service. Menu is somewhat limited but the food we ordered was great.
