Huge portions and really tasty food. The chicken wing starter was really good. The rack of ribs are huge. If we were here for longer we would have returned. Service was really pleasant and the resteraunt and toilets were nice and clean.

Went for an early tea on a Saturday, plenty of people there. We had burgers which were enjoyed. I had a steak sword and enjoyed it. I couldn’t eat it all, so took some home for my dog.

We frequent the hunters in Preston regularly, and as we were out, Blackburn way decided we'd stop by the Foundry. Had a spot of lunch. Stephen and the team were great very attentive and the food as always was amazing. Menu the same would be nice to see a change one in a while. Although didn't get the chance to check out the specials board. Would definitely recommend and very worst the visit. Lovely decorated places too. Very reasonably priced too.

Called here today on a spontaneous visit. Had no clue where to go for food and was driving towards blackburn so thought we'd try here after my husband had seen a few photos on Facebook of the variety of food. Glad we visited, lovely place. Food was absolutely spot on! Fresh and very tasty. Really large portions too. Thankyou!

Out at Roddlesworth Reservoir and this place came up as somewhere to visit. Quite a result it turned out. Deceiving from the outside as much bigger than it looked , we went through to the dog friendly area. Food was lovely and portions were more than enough. Would definitely recommend the Black pudding starter.

I go here once every couple of months and the food has always been incredible! I would recommend the chicken and chorizo sword, fish and chips, soup and sandwich from the lunch menu and all burgers are great too

Lovely place, great food and really great staff. Can't recommend enough, we will definitely be coming back. Great to see the staff wearing uniforms, I know it's not always popular with the staff but from the customer point of view it makes a big difference so thank you to all the staff for making our visit so good.

Visited my family in Blackburn 3 weeks ago and they were all raving about the foundry so had to check it out. Wasn't disappointed! Managed to get a table at short notice. Service was great. Good selection of beers on tap and tried the Thwaites IPA and Foundry lager, lovely pints. The Godfather burger was epic. Went back for a couple of pints in the evening and sat in the vault in one of the booths. Must be one of the nicest places for food and drink and atmosphere in Blackburn.

Food was great tasted fantastic. Service was good although spoke to several waitresses only to be ignored on four occasions they seemed to be in their own world. When we did get there attention service was good.

Very very nice atmosphere and relaxed time to pick your menu. No hassle no stress. The food that followed was absolutely brilliant. Very high standard and large portions. I personally had the full rack of ribs. What a challenge and what a delight. Will revisit when i am near again. 👍👍👍

We booked a table for 630 as this was the earliest we could book. We got there around 610 and we’re showed straight to our seats by Kirsty. We decided on our food and both chose off the Sunday menu. I ordered at the bar and was served by a really friendly staff member. Food was served very quickly. It was piping hot, nicely presented, massive portions and really tasty. Staff were super friendly. Even helped us to box up our leftovers. Will definitely recommend and return.

We were staying nearby and saw they served food on a sword which was so unique we had to go try it! We got nachos to share, a chicken chorizo sword to share and a dessert each, with a couple of alcoholic drinks was around £50 so not unreasonable. The service was excellent and the food was really tasty and served quickly. The decor is lovely and there's great attention to detail such as giving you a pad to write your order so you don't forget anything, moisturiser in the bathrooms and a mini toilet seat that pops down for the kids. Overall very clean and polished. We live an hour away and have already agreed we would visit again. Thank you!

We had 2 Sunday lunches; the lamb was a bit overcooked but the gammon was delicious. Had 2 beers and 2 ciders, plus a side of garlic bread. Feels quite expensive at £54. All the staff were attentive, helpful and friendly.

Absolutely beautiful food. My husband said his lamb shank and veg was the best he's ever had from a restaurant before.

Went here for our nephews 30th birthday meal, Lots of seating inside, Disabled parking bays and disabled access to the Pub/Restaurant by the disabled parking bays up a gradually sloping ramp, Some outdoor seating areas too, Was quite busy when we went, Food was really good, and at a reasonable price, Would definitely go again if in the area,

First off the food was excellent, but what really made this a pleasurable experience was that our kids were made to feel welcome instead of a hindrance. A special mention to the lovely waitress Robyn who went out of her way to make our kids feel special and even let my little girl make her own sundae. On this alone I would love to leave 6 stars if I could
