The room was a little tiny so was not as comfortable but not too shabby.
A little on the pricier side.
Also no dedicated parking spots
Cash only transactions, they don't take card.

Portion sizes were really good for the price. Overall food was nice. Just needed a bit more of spice, though the sauces do add to the overall flavour. Overall really good experience.
Two noteworthy points, they have a pray area and the meat is HMC approved.
Elaf Not the first time I have been there, which clearly indicates that the food is good. Additionally, the service is always excellent, and the owner personally makes the effort to come and greet us at the table to ensure that we are all comfortable and well taken care of. Many people do like their meal spicy, but Turkish cuisine is not spicy; instead, it is more about tastes and grilled meats. Although they will try their best if you want spice.
We ordered rice with Kobeda and chicken tikka with humus. It was bland if you don't take sauces with it.
Been few times to Elaf and at each visit i have never been disappointed. Food is always cooked to perfection n tastes delicious. Service is always good 👍 and food portions are excellent 👌 loved everything.

Food was amazing, we had a grand platter that was such a delight fed 5 of us till we were about to burst. It was delicious, meat was succulent and it is presented beautifully with so many great options. Highly recommended. Seating is quite cramped and cosy but the food is worth it.

Lovely restaurant in blackburn with very tasty food. Only major negative, which is the reason for taking off one star, is they do not accept cards all the time (i have been twice and the first time despite having a sign which said cash only, they said they accepted card, and the second time i assumed would be the same, but was actually cash only, and it wasnt because the machine wasnt working, apparently they have certain days whoch are cash only, but seems a bit random from a decent restaurant to not accept card).
However, the food is absolutely spot on, i really enjoyed the kobedas and the qabli qulau, they make you understand what "succulent" juicy meat is.
The naans are fresh and lovely. And the sauces also really add to the meal. Overall very impressed.
We tried both the kanafe and the baclava, i have to say i didnt enjoy the kanafe as much as i have in other places, but maybe that is just my taste, but i really enjoyed the baclava.
Plenty parking around the streets nearby, withing a few seconds walk.
Overall, will definitely be coming again, but will clarify beforehand if they accept card on that day or not.
Recommended by a friend for this place. And needless to say, a wonderful experience. Everything was freshly made and served well. Dessert and then tea in the end were wow too. Would definitely recommend visiting when in Blackburn.
Owner is very kind and helpful, service is excellent, food is excellent and restaurant is very clean inside with working hand sanitizer which is really imporant.

The atmosphere was again very enjoyable and relaxing although people were waiting for tables you never once felt you were rushed.
I can only end this ... MashaAllah, in Blackburn we have plenty of food outlets and variety too but this is one of the top ten.
Excellent service! Magnificent food with style and appearance. We ordered the family platter and to our delight we were served a complimentary grand platter and it was GRAND! Extremely friendly owner and staff ensured we were looked after.

We were visiting friends in the area and they took us to Elaf for dinner. We are from London where there are lots of Turkish restaurants that we frequent. Elaf is hands down the best Turkish food we have eaten. Staff were so nice and it was a lovely and special experience. I can't wait to return next time. Lovely food, lovely experience and lovely people.
amazing food as per usual. 10/10 hospitality. food always fresh and tasty. tender meat and chicken - love the chicken shawarma! tea and dessert was on the house, very kind of the staff at Elaf to provide this lovely service for us. I recommend this restaurant to everybody. Even brought out the liquid nitrogen amazing presentation! kids loved it. maybe i loved it more haha.

This is an excellent restaurant. Everything was freshly prepared and was authentic Middle Eastern food. I really enjoyed the chicken and kobeda kebab. The Margherita pizza was perfect for the kids. The lamb was a little too chewy for me. The kanafa dessert was a nice, sweet and tasty surprise. The mint tea needs more mint to take us back to the Middle East. The toilets were clean which is great news. The head chef will do his best to cater to your taste and needs. Overall, excellent service, presentation and highly recommended.
