First time in Blackburn and was very fortunate to drop on such a friendly pub on the way to Ewood park. Locals and staff were really friendly. If I lived in the area, The Brown Cow would be my local. No score on the food as we didn't need anything. Trying to find an excuse to get back to Blackburn.
No stars for food as they don't serve food, only hot pies.
Great atmosphere close to Ewood Park so great on football days.

Friendly atmosphere. Landlady and landlord always make me feel welcome. Entertainment on Saturday and rock and roll bingo was such a laugh.
I used to be a regular here but then turned into a dive. Found it very clicky. Since under new management it’s a very inclusive friendly place to be. Keep up the good work.
Having not been on football for over a season was pleasantly surprised to see pub still open. Under new ownership, miss previous landlady and staff but still warm welcome and good pint

Lovely clean pub, reasonably priced drinks and nice beer garden.
The pub has been refurbished and to a good standard still a locals pub but friendly enough for a quiet pint.

Busy pub especially on match days nice pub shows sports on tv good choice of beer but if you like real ale go for the wainwrights great pint and reasonbly priced.
