This pub is practically next door to my sister kate dane,which is why we went there,but would happily drive to this little gem.there were 11 of us plus a baby and a dog.we were really well looked after and extremely well fed.they were short staffed and managed to get everyone fed quickly and all together.even the dog was made to feel special.thankyou for helping make our lovely family get together even better.brilliant job.
Wonderful meal here this afternoon with my friend. Lady who served us was lovely and friendly and the food was served really quickly. Lovely hot food well presented (chips were amazing!). Lovely little place that looks like its recently been refurbished. Will be calling again soon.
Great pub very friendly staff good beer and great food and plenty of it nice specials list,great for popping in for a paint and a sank on the way back from walking with dog are no dog,great bands on now and again.

Good food, good value and friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble. We were a large group, but everyone's food was hot and tables were served together. A lovely evening.
We have visited a few different local restaurants in the past month, but this one was the best food we have tasted in a while & the staff are very helpful & friendly. Service was quick & not pushy. Will definitely be going back very soon. ���

Had a great lunch with my friend on Friday afternoon, plenty of choice on the menu, which also stated calorific value and had gluten free options. Very impressed. Food came in good time, was hot and delicious to boot. Will definitely be back.

My friend and I went in last week for a light lunch, wonderful, very tasty and great service. We shared at a sandwich and glad that we did share as it was huge. Lovely soft, fresh cob with tuna melt and a portion of freshly cooked chips. Will definitely go again.
Been awhile since last visit but heard a new landlady had taken over and what a difference -for a Wednesday night the place was quite busy. Had food and drinks. Delicious!!! Landlady was very pleasant and welcoming. Will be back.
Came for a meal with family. Had a lovely experience. The staff couldn’t do more to please us and the food was amazing. We will definitely be back soon.
It was a good experience. Although a couple of things were off the menu, it didn’t stop us having a good meal and drinks. The service was very good and helpful.
Service was excellent. Jo and Reece could not have been anymore attentive.
Tam was very welcoming and made sure everything was perfect. The food cooked by Markus was superb and delicious.

Extremely good service from Finley. He really went above and beyond to make sure everything was OK and we had all we needed, and he apologised for our short wait. The food was great and very hot. We’ll be back!

The food was excellent and great value for money. We were a party of 13, the service was exemplary and all the food came at once and was piping hot. All meals were great.

Great pub..Natasha and her team were great and looked after us. The oub wzs clean and tidy very welcoming and a proper pub. 4 stars only because I didnt have food but my friends were impressed.
Had the steak an ale pie for lunch, really good. Massive portion, probably won't need to eat for the rest of the day. It's a nice place, pleasant and friendly staff. Might try save room for a sundae when I go back.

Only happened to go to the dog and otter with it being on the 2br best restaurants deal and it didn't disappoint. We will definatley be returning 3 course meal each and a drink for £23.60 because of the voucher you can't complain at that. Very lovely and attentive staff, would recommend. I ordered the golden breaded mushrooms, followed by hunters chicken and finished with cheese cake really couldn't fault it! X
