Lovely pub with friendly staff, and a lovely couple running it, will definately be back in next time we are up that way again. 😊
Went for a family birthday meal, Friday 20th august. Took 40 mins for food to arrive even though we were the only ones eating 5 people. Soup was like water no taste had better coup a soup. Came for an early evening meal. Had spaghetti bolognaise which was full of flavour. also had a chocolate fudge cake for desert. Attentive staff and lovely pub. Will definitely return and recommend!
Went to dine with my daughter recently. We both had the flat iron steaks with pepper cone sauce. Wow, everyone should try this meal, it was a grade A cut of beef with fresh dressed salad and real chips. Definitely going back...
Lovely pub, rustic but beautiful decor, food is better than you expect. Cheeseburger well made. The cheese is lasagne worthy, good range of drinks and Victoria was attentive and welcoming. Will definitely be back
Friendly staff, excellent food, first rate customer service. Plenty of comfortable seating and open fires. Lovely dining area. Highly recommended.

Went on the 29th August. Firstly the drinks order was wrong but let it slide, then the food took ages to come even though it was empty. I had a vegetarian chillie which tasted of nothing,the aubergines had flavour but wasn't the right flavour and tasted off and not correctly cooked. My bowl was full
