Had our first visit tonight drove past so many times, a hidden gem of a place in plain sight food was terrific staff & atmosphere was very friendly a Italian restaurant with genuine Italian Vibes Thankyou
We had a wonderful evening at Checco's, a friendly welcome, seated at a table near the window with a stunning view of the sunset sky. A wide menu choice and the food is delicious, served hot and well presented. The service is excellent and food service prompt. Our pre-teen sons enjoyed the meal and commented on the exceptional service and quality of food too. The ambiance is typical of a cozy Italian trattoria. This is our favourite places to dine and is a real treat. Thank you Checco's

We had an excellent visit to Checcos. Our first visit despite living just around the corner for the last 10 years. The food was delicious, the service was top notch and the atmosphere was intimate and classically romantic. Would definitely recommend to family and friends. And we'll most definitely be visiting again.

Couldn't book as there were only three of us so we had a wait for a table but the service and food were fab, only criticism is that the room was very warm and lots of people crammed into a small space
Just been for a meal with 7 friends to celebrate 3 birthdays including my belated 60th (from last December), Absolutely delicious. Would definitely recommend Checcos. One member of the group can't eat anything that contains anything from the onion family and another one can't eat anything with dairy products. They managed to make them meals that they could eat. Nothing was too much for them. thank you.

I have never had a bad meal or bad service at this restaurant, but visiting with my Grandma on Friday was something else.
Not only did uou serve me the best Eton Mess I've ever eaten (and I've eaten some Eaton Mess!), but you treated my Grandma like a princess.xx

A little gem of a restaurant. Really delicious freshly cooked food, served piping hot. The staff were really friendly and made us feel so welcome. Prices are standard for an Italian meal. We are only in the area visiting, but if we lived here it would definitely become a regular place to visit.
We hadn't booked a table for 5 of us yet they still managed to seat us. The staff were lovely and polite and very quick to supply us with menus and drinks. The food was absolutely delicious, even the kids who aren't massive lovers of Italian food really enjoyed it. Highly recommend

I know how expensive things are at the moment but £75 for 3 pizzas, 2 x pudding , 2 x coke and a glass of wine... seems a lot. Very attentive, very good food not much atmosphere but the service was very good.

Checcos is very established and the food quality is second to none.
The cost of living means it is only a very special occasion for us £27 for a steak is top end and very well cooked. Slightly disappointed with the vegetable portions and the potatoes between three if us was tiny. Don't skimp on the veg !! the carrots were dry and unseasoned. But overall a pleasant experience and would recommend.
Visited a few times now while away working in Blackburn, foods great and staff do a great job.

The food, the staff, the atmosphere, the service are all out of this world, 20 out of 10 on every level. Whether eating in or taking out Checcos hits the spot every time. Never had a disappointing meal in 30+ years. Our go to family restaurant. Cannot recommend highly enough. Grazie ❤️🇮🇹
We all enjoyed the food. It was a nice cosy, warm place on a freezing cold night. Staff were lovely, friendly..food reasonably priced too...
