Great relaxing atmosphere. Staff are very helpful and even get the kids drinks out for them to choose from. Handy being right next to the road to Dartmouth. Massive car park that can accommodate cars with caravans. Perfect venue if you want to celebrate an occasion. Bus stop right outside. Huge beer garden with a decent children’s climbing frame with slide and tunnel and enclosed from the road.
Been here three times this week 1st off for some drinks and then Friday morning for breakfast and finally today for Tea. Absolutely amazing. If your in the area I would recommend stopping here. The food is amazing and the staff are lovely. Nothing is too much for them.

Had a really lovely pizza here a couple of weeks ago while we were on holiday. It was mid week so it wasn't busy and it was September. We've visited the sportsman's arm a few times when we've been in Devon and it's always been excellent. Nice staff and a relaxing atmosphere.
Our car broke down, and we arrived just after the kitchen closed. The chefs still made us a great fish and chips, and one of the waiters drove us back to the place we were staying. Lovely pub, great staff and great regulars. Everyone really keen to help. Will def be popping back in next time we are down this way.
Accommodated our allergies easily, always the sign of actually cooking the food. Really lovely food and plenty of it. Looking at the meals coming out of the kitchen the whole menu looked wonderful! 😋
Lovely carvery. Little annoyed at being sat in a tent. However this was shown in the photos of the pub so my fault. Recommend you check before you book. Overall ok

Absolutely amazing experience. 15 of us, 12 adults and 3 children descended here at 6.30 on a Saturday evening unannounced and they couldn't have been more helpful.
Have us our own little room and the service was 1st class from start finish. The food was hot, timely and very tasty. The desserts were lovely.
Highly recommended.
