What a wonderful place to visit. Our son is steam train mad and he absolutely loved it. The staff/ volunteers are so helpful and friendly. We visited here whilst on holiday and would definitely recommend a visit. We pre booked our tickets but wasn't that busy to say it was the August summer holiday
A birthday treat this time, and what a pleasure! Displays of old Fry's & Cadbury packaging, the old Somerdale engine, a lovely train ride both ways. Recommended for a day out if you like heritage railways.

I enjoyed a wonderful breakfast, but I will admit considering the menu I'd have expected it to have been a faster service. It felt like every order was cooked before the next was started. But I'd go back, I'd just allow for delays. Friendly staff and a wonderful place to enjoy.

We had a wonderful morning on the train at one of the special days where they also had some farm animals on site. Diesel hauled when I visited because it was too hot & dry for steam. (fire risk)
