Just had takeaway number 10,000 from Oriental Chinese. Absolutely fabulous food. We have tried others but nothing compares. We have tried pretty much everything on the menu over the years and Oriental never disapoints. Thank you guys!
Absolutely outstanding food, hot, fresh and delicious the mixed chow mein is a high recommendation. We always travel 50 minutes just to visit this place so that says a lot
Place is very busy but that's because the food is delicious. All freshly cooked to order. Particularly like the egg fried rice. It's really light and fluffy and not loads of egg which I like. Took 20 mins for food to be ready, ordered in the shop and took it home with us. Phone orders were coming in quick and fast (Saturday night) and they were advising delivery was an hour. Pretty standard price for a Chinese. Starter to share and main meal for two, £17. Really enjoyed it.
Excellent service, good food. Could not fault them. They really went out of their way to help with vegan and gluten free diets. Highly recommended.

The food is excellent and plenty of choice (as you'd expect from most Chinese takeaways). I've used this place on many occasions and the meals have always been consistently good.
This would have been a 5 star review, however I visited last Thursday to make a collection order, there were two delivery drivers sat in the waiting area. I waited at the counter for more than 5 minutes, closer to 10 minutes probably. In this time, the only time that a staff member came to the counter was to sort the delivery orders with the drivers. I was never acknowledged in all the time I was waiting and so I walked out and went elsewhere.
The service is usually excellent, I'm going to return and hopefully it was a one-off because they were very busy.
I have ordered from here twice now and I have to say that the food is amazing! I called the takeaway to see if they could change the type of sauce on one of the items i ordered and they could not have been more helpful and accommodating. If you like fall off the bone meat with minimal fat then the salt and chilli ribs are definitely worth trying. This is now the only chinese I will order from. Very good sized portions and value for money. Great service too with on time delivery.
