Having heard lots of great things about the food from friends we decided to book for my dads birthday. The chilli we had was amazing the best chilli and hottest we’ve had out in a very long time. Blue cheese Cajun burger was also spicy and delicious. Great selection for the kiddies too. Great beer and staff were friendly and helpful. Haven’t been here for over 15 years but will definitely be back more often now. Advise to book as it was really busy when we got there.
Lovely Chicken Madras. Satisfying Cold beers. Consistent high quality as ever. Only suggestion is to put the Tobago curry on the main menu. Loved it last time and well worth the extra £1.50.
Good little pub in a great location. Fantastic drinks and snacks, didn’t have food there but it looks good so there’s an excuse to go back soon!
We stopped here after a walk to Pwlldu beach. We had the Hake in Jerk spices and the Hickory Chicken - both were as good as they look! Service was prompt and efficient, we were outside at a well spaced table.
I can also recommend their own brewed ale - delicious!
They accommodated me turning up at the end of food service. The blackened Cajun Hake bangs 👌🏻. Fresh, perfectly cooked! Friendly, smiling service. Excellent bike stop. Swerve the other local pubs. Neck Oil and Brixton IPAs too. Winner 🥇
Love this quirky little pub, friendly staff and customers, the food is excellent. I've only ever walked to this pub as the parking is a bit rubbish. Definitely worth a visit.
Friendly local pub, food was delicious ibhad the steak and guiness pie, it was lush.
Definitely a must to visit
Nice traditional pub, good choice of beer, pub grub available, and lovely staff
Nice pub, very friendly nice food good service. Parking is a bit of a problem.
There are not many pubs that serve food as good as this. Large helping and fantastic value. Where else would you find a 16 ounce ribeye steak for £18. The lightly battered Hake was absolutely delicious. You have a choice of proper chips or jacket potato into the bargain. Both came with a lovely side salad. They also served a superb Laguntas IPA which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Wonderful jacket potatoes and Gower Gold ale. Also loved watching the cricket on the TV
Great craft beer, a warm welcome and a cosy log fire what more can you ask for.oh yes great food that is constantly good.
Small but cosy, well-run pub. Normally fairly busy, but can handle it. Good selection of beers and wines. The food looks good, but I've never actually eaten there.
We were a group of 10 down in the area for golf and we booked a table to watch the football on a weds evening. The food and drink were excellent, as was the service.
Great pub! Friendly and attentive staff, food was delicious.
Very friendly staff, really helpful with sorting the cake we had brought for a birthday lunch. Good food variety . V tasty lamb burger. Good jerk chicken. Good portion size. Prawns a bit tasteless.. Wld be nice to keep outside seating more separate from the cars with more greenery.
Friendly and genuine service with really good beer made on site. The food is fantastic and really good value, the children meals are generous and the mains certainly fill an empty belly with great grub!
Stumbled on this place after a round of golf at the beautiful Langland Bay course - so glad we did! Great food and IPA beer; a perfect end to a glorious day. Biggest steak I’ve ever been served in a restaurant and the fish was lightly battered and perfect. Great value for money - highly recommend!
